Thing is, even though you say your opinion is not influenced by religion and is based on your personal opinion, religion is a big part of your life that has influenced the way you have been raised, the way you have lived your life and the kind of person you are, therefore religion will inexorably be a part of your opinion, even when you claim it is not.

That is true. Although when it pertains to abortion its purely natural. With our society as modern as it is and all the different ways to prevent pregnancies abortion should not be used as a contraceptive. Which it is. Only in less than 1% is it used in cases of rape or incenst. So for me use a condom or birth control or the morning after their should be no reason to abort

Nor does the fact that most people are against something make them right or make it socially right.


Most people were for segregation. Most people were for slavery at a point in time. Most people were against women having the same rights as men.D oes that make them right or socially acceptable?

Also, you failed to take into account the criteria I stated: it should be allowed as long as it does not harm anyone else, which murder or cannibalism does. However something that is the private issue of two consenting adults should not be society's concern to ban.

I'm a small minded bigot? Really? I never said I was against gay adoption but you never wanted to here that huh asshole. I said who decides what's acceptable and where do we draw the line. I used polyginistsand beastialtlity and now incest as examples. To show people on here that there are different levels of people not accepting something and people not accepting this doesn't make them bigots. Yet you continuously brought up my faith and how it pertains to it beliefs without even reading half of what I wrote

This had been my arguement the whole time. There will always be this discussion some want complete tolerance and acceptance no matter the cost. That doesn't work

Well it sure felt that way. When everything I said you always had a comment about my religion or faith. Like I don't have deductive reasoning and intelligence to make non religious decisions. On this forum anyone who has faith be it in Jesus or Mohammed or whatever is looked upon as a bigot and a small minded idiot. Meanwhile we all seem pretty intelligent and capable of discussion that always doesn't have to revolve around religion. Ibdidnt bring up my faith once you all did. Even the Muslims got crap because of their faith its part if us but doesn't define us. So if you weren't mocking I apologize but it feels that way when one can't espouse a belief without being a bigot or small minded religious midget
