Nah she thoght that stannis was Azor Ahai , she was wrong .
Azor Ahai is supposedly a legendary hero who wielded a flaming sword called lightbringer . He was a hero and there is a profecy in Melisandres religion that he will be reborn and save the world from darkness . Melisandre thought stannis was azor ahai , but he is not clearly . Jon is the one . In the movie it is mentioned , but not explained in detail

No way they leave jon out for a season . The series should close out by season 7 in theory so he would have to be revived gather approval and support from everyone to fight the others and save the world . Don't think that can be archieved in one season .

I can see it happening differently though . Imho it could happen that melisandre finds the dead body of jon . Maybe she sees a vision in her sleep and goes out of the room to find him dead soon after he has been stabbed . I doubt that allister and his gang will simply gather the troop and say that they killed jon . While he had a lot of people against him that is still treason and will leave a mark in their reputation . I suspect they will leave him dead to be found the next morning , but that's just a theory . It could also happen that the day before they try to burn his body melisandre robs jon , maybe even with the help of davos

some say his soul will be embedded into his wolf 'ghost' so he will probably do some sort of voice over
besides the thing at the end there, when the hell did this show turn into a soap opera with scenes getting cut before their closure, this show has turned into some cheap mexican telenovela
