Guardalben is leaving PAlermo b/c Zeman will coach them. Nightmare for keepers. :p

+ he's a good friend of Gigi.

but, like you said Antonioli is more probable and FREE.
Zeman returning? :( what's with the nightmare for keepers story? don't know about that :p

and IMO if he joins us,it's the second time he's a reserve for buffon..r u sure they'r good friends? i wouldn't like to be at his position :D

Antonioli is more than enough..he probably only play in copa and the last serie a fixture to earn the medal so..

I know it's impossible,but i'd like Juve to keep Mirante :(
There are no "home" players anymore at Juve (even Del Piero started at padova so..)

Reports in Italy are again resurfacing with regards to Juventus' interest in Chelsea defender William Gallas.

The France international has always been a long-term target of the Old Lady but it had been thought their interest had quelled somewhat this term.

However, it would now appear that Juve are ready to resurrect a deal for the talented 28-year-old.

Despite being a regular under Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge, Gallas has often expressed his disappointment at being used in what he perceives to be his wrong position at left back.

Gallas is keen to play in a central role on a more regular basis and has previously intimated that he would not be adverse to a switch to Serie A.

Juventus would only need to relieve their financial coffers to the tune of £1.4 million if they are to land Gallas, whose contract at the West London giants expires next year

Juve back on Gallas trail

Juventus have refocused their efforts on luring Chelsea defender William Gallas to the Stadio Delle Alpi, according to reports in Italy.

Having won the battle to sign Parma midfielder Marco Marchionni, Juve are now looking to strengthen a defence which, despite being the best in the country, lacks strength in depth.

Gallas has been a Bianconeri target for some time and - after missing out on Willy Sagnol - the French defender’s ability to play at both full-back and centre-half is of even greater interest to the Italian champions.

The 28-year-old has been a first-team regular under José Mourinho, despite intense competition for places at Stamford Bridge from the likes of £19.85m signing Ricardo Carvalho, but is thought to be in favour of a move to Italy.

It would cost approximately £1.4m to free the France international from his current deal, which expires in 2007, but further financial penance may have to be paid given Chelsea’s unhappiness with Juve over their controversial signing of Adrian Mutu.

Why the fuck is Chelsea mad about us signing Mutu, again?

Those fuckheads are idiots for being pissed that they cut Mutu and someone signed him. That is what happens, dipshits.

I don`t understand something our center backs are Cannavaro and Thuram
If Gallas joins he would be a starter no?! Is Thuram set to retire at the end of this year?

Gallas offered extension

Chelsea supremo Peter Kenyon is looking to prevent Juventus moving in for defender William Gallas by offering to extend his contract. The 28-year-old French international is reported to be ready to buy out the rest of his contract in the summer and join the Serie A champions. The French defender much vaunted by Fabio Capello is part of a Chelsea trio that includes Damien Duff and Joe Cole that Kenyon wants to sign new deals. “Our first priority all the time is to extend the contracts of our current players,” said Kenyon. “Everyone is different but we are very confident that those whose contracts we want to extend we will and the squad by the start of next season will be what we want. We have a great relationship with Gallas. He loves playing for Chelsea and we love him playing for us.” Gallas wants up to £70,000 a week to stay while, according to reports, Juventus are willing to pay him what he wants and also play him at centre-back instead of left back.

Maybe not retire, but it's a stretch to say that his form has been worthy of a starting place this year. Next year will be worse.
