this is getting ridiculous, it's time to look elsewhere
If nothing is sorted today we need to move on. There is no way D'ago is worth the 16m they are demanding not even mentioning the player swaps. The only way we should agree to 16m at all is if we get an option on Zapata as well. He is worth about 10-12m considering that he is practically demanding a move to us, any more than that would be crazy, and swapping gio or marchisio would be stupidity.

We need to start casting our eye over other players if we cant sort this out today, pref not diarra and ladesma. I like Moutinho, Veloso, Melo, Hernanes.

Fuck Udinese for wasting our time. D'Ago clearly wanted to go to Juventus, but they had to ruin it.
Fuck Udinese for looking after their own interests.

We are Juventus, so they should be paying us to have the honour of watching their best players play for us.

Milan to hijack D’Ago deal?

Juventus will have to wrap up a deal for Gaetano D’Agostino quickly or possibly risk Milan hijacking the switch.

Juve and Udinese have been discussing the transfer of the midfielder for weeks now, but negotiations have stalled.

Although Juve want to buy, Udinese want to sell and D’Agostino has virtually demanded the move, agreeing on terms is proving problematic.

There is believed to be a £5m difference in valuation between the two clubs and Juve are refusing to hand over any of the players which Udinese have requested as part of the terms.

With Juventus stuttering, reports in the peninsula on Friday are suggesting that the Rossoneri could take advantage of the problems.

The Milan club, after selling Kaka, are now seemingly ready to cash in on Chelsea target Andrea Pirlo.

Should that happen then D’Agostino is the closest thing in the Italian game to the former Brescia youth team player.

Like Pirlo, the former Under-21 international started life as an attacking midfielder until he was switched to a deep lying playmaker role.

D’Agostino has excelled in that position over the last two seasons and recently won his maiden full cap in the 3-0 friendly win over Northern Ireland.

If Juventus do fail to agree terms for the Sicilian then they are likely to focus their attention to a number of other midfielders.

They have already held initial talks with Real Madrid over Mahamadou Diarra, while Lazio’s Cristian Ledesma could be an attractive proposition.

Media BS!

He stays calm during all this, will only go to Juve if he stays in Italy, he doesn't exclude going abroad.

One thing is looking after their own interests, another thing is to waste our time. They clearly didn't want to sell him and therefore wanted ridicilous bids. That isn't the way to go into a negotiation if you want to make a deal.

They first wanted 20m euro + 2 of our main talents for D'Ago ffs. That is unreasonable.

D'Ago is good but not that good. There are many alternatives out there. We should not, and will not yield to Udinese's demands. They also have to try and be objective and realistic in their valuation of the player. Just because he had one stellar season doesn't all of a sudden make him a superstar or world class player.

Let's look somewhere else, give them time to think and mull over our offer, and I am sure they will come back and be willing to negotiate.

especially if we have said we are keeping Tiago, why the need to sign this guy...I am more than happy to have Camo and Diego as our offense-minded midfielders, with backup from Momo and Marchi

Excatly. They are totally unrealistic and believe they will get as much as we payed for Diago or Amauri.

D'Ago is not like Camo or Diego. He is like Pirlo. A "defence-minded playmaker". We need that in our team.

It's true that D'Ago would add more depth to our midfield. But at this moment I would really prefer that money to go for an improvement on the defence since those positions are weaker. Buying Santacroce, Grosso and a decent RB is far better than ditching out 16m euros for D'Agostino.

If Juve don't like it they can walk away whenever they want.

The thing is, Juventus like this player and obviously want him. The board probably thought Udinese would get realistic, but they ended up being stubborn and wanting huge amount of money + our youngsters. They simply wasted our time and the transfer negotiations went nowhere.

Why don't we just go after Fabregas, Udinese want 20 Mil for D'Ago, which means we must be willing to spend around that amount, if we sell Trez, either Tiago or Poulsen, Marchionni and the others that will go, we will be around the 40 Mil mark which is something Arsenal could consider

Convincing him could be the biggest problem especially if the other big teams get involved but anything is possible and he has been talking about leaving
