It's not so hard when the player is so clearly a has-been, like Del Piero.

He hasn't scored a single goal this month.
But will Udinese accept this deal?
If they don't want De Ceglie what makes you think that they'll want Del Piero?

If Secco does this then he'll be officially my GOD. It will be a daylight robbery. Playmaker in his prime, an Azzurri player, vs a 50 year old veteran who can't even dream about playing for the NT with guys like Mascara and Pelissier in front of him in the pecking order.
:agree:

It will also allow us to stop paying Del Piero those ridiculously high, and undeserved, wages.
I just have this feeling that Del Piero would be rejuvenated at Udinese. I'd prefer we sell him to some team abroad.
I don't care where we sell him, I just want his overrated, lazy ass out of Juve.
MLS?

Meh, that league might be a little too hard on his aging body.
But who in his right mind would like to buy Del Piero?
No, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The last chance to get rid of Del Piero.

I would have paid anything to see Hoori, Elvin, Rab and all the DP fan brigade's face expressions when reading this :D

Pardon my ignorance(it looks like a lot liked the joke) here, but i didn't really get that one.

I'm assuming he's referring to the similar colors worn by both teams?

No, he got that bad injury back in 1998 against Udinese. Some people say that he wasn't the same player after that injury.

He broke his leg in Udine. Some say he never returned to his best form after that.

edit: Alen, ofcourse, beat me too it.

Pozzo interview

- D'Agostino desires Juve with all his force.

- We grow players and them we let them go. Everybody knows that.

- 30m €? Well, I made a little discount.

- Gaetano refused other destinations.

- Juve only talked to us about D'Agostino.

- It's true we asked for Marchisio and Giovinco. They said no and we then discussed other players.

- Giovinco could make this deal happen right now. It'd be good for him to play a lot but we can't force him to join us.

- I'm optimistic about the transfer.

They have no leverage. Secco can make a nice deal.
