What I'm trying to say is that first, Sorenson is a high quality young player as well despite his record and second, just because a quality young player is forced to prove himself in the Primavera doesn't mean he will spend all season there. If Appelt manages to impress in the Primavera which he should if he's as good as you say, then he should make his way into the first team quickly and easily just like Sorenson did.
