They are allowed to leave Brazil for as long as they've had their passports. They can't start in Serie A though until they become 18, whether they were European, Italian or whatever.
Balotelli was 17 when he debuted. I think that rule applies solely for non-EU players, such as Pato back then.

We have spent very little. Signed two promising brazilians.Melo will help them settle in no doubt...I am more excited about Gabriel's brother...as he looked in the clips, very composed on the ball and fine with getting constantly crunched by opposition players. Its encouraging to see our scouting network expanding out of Ital over this last year...sorensen, the appelt brothers, brunescu, magnusson...also Ilari and camillieri...at least in the youth market we retain some clout.

Pato couldn't play because he turned 18 a few days after the transfer window had been closed, thus he couldn't be registered. I don't believe there's any reason this guy (sub-18) can't play for the first team. He's been sign and contract deposited.

-edit. That is, it'll be this summer.

You don't have to be 18 to play in Serie A.

I present to you the case of Valeri Bojinov, who was 15 when he made his Serie A debut with Lecce

Why not? They've been here less than a year and Sorensen's been a great find. Then we have Brancescu and Magnusson who we can't judge, but show that we're finally doing some scouting outside of Italy.
Exactly. It's about time we start to get the ball rolling with this. Personally, I can't wait to see Brancescu get some goal time with us, I wanna see what the fuss is all about with this tower of a kid. Magnusson, well...I just want to see his full name and what it looks like on a jersey.
“I’m thrilled and honored to wear the Juventus shirt, one of the largest and most prestigious clubs in the world”

“I can’t wait to get to Turin and work with my new teammates. I feel I’ve made a great choice”

    5-year contract, 2.5M + Bonuses for Resende.

I liked the kid a lot from the video Melo posted. I hope he will become big one day.

    Welcome Gabriel!
Nice quotes. Man, what if he starts next season to Melo and Aqui doesn't get bought? That would be insane...haha I would even be nervous. 5 year contract, man...big step for the kid(s)...wish them the best. I guess that means Melo is staying to help him settle in? Obviously not the only reason he would, but it wouldn't make sense to let him go when we bring in two kids from his home country.
I don't expect much. Let's see how will Appelt brothers do against Ganso, Neymar and Piazon.
He powned Dinho nicely...smart with staying on his feet and reading the other guys game...seemed to make smart decisions and excellent positioning for defending from the video...can't wait to see more of him.
Very good signing, forza youth.

In that video he looks very good.
Forza youth indeed. I am tired of getting bashed for saying it...nice to see a Mod is finally talking sense. :D:D:D
That's not right dude.. They can play right away.
    Sure as hell can.

    Or Amauri. :scared:

Can't wait to see what our Primavera team does next year. :nerd:
Like others have said, it's nice that our scouts have been looking outside of Italy and we've signed some promising talents.

Paratici seems to be doing quite a decent job in his role so far.
Do you ever wonder if anyone at the club reads Tuz?

Anyways, it's nice to see our scouts are not within driving distance from Turin for a change. Hopefully they don't get homesick anytime soon:D

I think so. Under 18s are forbidden from signing professional contracts and subsequently feature in professional devisions' football. All this regardless of the nationality.
Whataheck are you talking about. Lots of youth players in youth contracts has played Serie A. And you talking about you have to be 18 hehe (you confused it with Brazilians having to be 18 to play in Europe), Bojinov made his Serie A debute at 15.
