It was a sensible decision, since the thread wasn't going in the intended direction. in my defense, though, I just started it as a placeholder for anyone who happened to want an avatar at any given time. The fact that nobody was requesting pictures to be resized etc. is hardly my fault.

As for the usefulness of this thread, I expect Avatars 2.0 to last longer than this one
