defy some, cause we already got 2 CM (Pirlo pazienza) as facts and we are discussing of bringing 2 more (Inler, Hazard, Pastore) and get rid of 2 (Sissoko and Aquilani or Melo), unless you are also one of the ones believing that we are selling Marchisio right after we extended his contract...
I dunno why is Pazienza thread in the players section...it is not official. Imo we are getting rid of Aqua and Sissoko, which leave us with - Pirlo, Melo, Marchisio and possibly Inler....even if Pazienza do join us is just fine for the bench...Pastore and Hazard are just trash talk

I would rather have Kwado Asamoah if they have to get someone from Udinese.
Not convinced Inler would be as good without someone as dynamic as Asamoah beside him.

But both were impressive in the couple of occassions that I saw them this season.

I also think Pirlo, Melo and Marchisio are bound to fill 2 of our CM starter roles, i wish we would never got Pazienza to be the filler and keep Aquilani instead, or even better, drop him and sign Inler, BUT, we got him, so even if sell Sissoko and drop Aquilani, we will still be having a CM in plus, in a season that we wont be playing in Europe.

And i also agree that Pastore and Hazard are just trash talk!

I dont remember him being replaced by a better Aquilani, i dont believe that Aquilani had many more appearances than Marchisio, but since Melo and Aquil are not as versatile as Marchisio, Marchisio was the one tasked to play out of position more times and that has affected his performance.

And since you are a fan of Marchisio i think you are just mad on him, before he has failed his justified high expectations you had on him, considering his previous years.
But you should know that every player has a bad season, remember how Marchisio was proven to be one of our best players, under so many different conditions.
It is not fair to compare him vs very good competition, in a team that has underperformed as a whole in his worst season, with Inler at his best, in a very on form team, along lesser competition (he became a starter due to injuries)

It is never wise to pass judgement considering only one season!
If marchisio was a leader, like he was supposed to be, aqua wouldnt have gotten into the team, and juventus would have been third this year.

yet we lacked a leader, and he never stepped up.

yeah, i blame him for that
then again, i blame the entire squad for lacking balls

Yes we do lack a leader and yes Marchisio is not the player we need to take the team from her hand drive her forwards like Neddy used to do.
But Marchisio is not solely at fault for that, this is a collective fault, our realistic expectations reflected better on Marchisio, but it was not meant to be.
I think for that we need a prestigious, very exp and older player. And thats probably why we got Pirlo!!

However MArchisio is still a very useful and versatile tool player, that can help us, he is young enough to grow some more balls and he has the potential to adapt into a new role,
unlike many other players we have and are able to acquire.
If Melo and Pirlo do better, then so be it, Juve wins!, we would still have a reliable solution on the bench, growing better and with a loyalty and patience, no mercenary can equal.
I dont like the hyping of the average Italian players, but i do believe that in the previous years Marchisio has proven that he is more than that!
