Inler's wife snubs Napoli for Juve?

The reports that Juventus will snatch Gokhan Inler away from Napoli gain credence. “His wife would prefer Turin.”
The Udinese midfielder is one of those expected to be sold over the summer, even though his club are in the Champions League preliminary round.

Up until recently it was thought he was very close to joining Napoli, but the Bianconeri have made a sudden interception.

“I am not in contact with Napoli,” agent Dino Lamberti told Tuttosport newspaper.

“I have to help the player make a very important step in his career, so it is my duty to speak with other clubs, obviously with the authorisation of Udinese.”

It is suggested Juve offered a four-year contract worth €2.1m per season plus bonuses, while Udinese would receive Albin Ekdal, Manuel Giandonato or Frederik Sorensen as part of the deal.

The reasoning behind the turnaround has been provided by Il Mattino journalist Luca Pasquaretta.

“Napoli reached a deal with Udinese to sign Inler, but the Swiss international has chosen Juventus for two reasons,” claimed Pasquaretta.

“Firstly, he would earn more in Turin and is impressed by the plans of President Andrea Agnelli. He could play the Champions League with Napoli, but apparently that wasn’t too important to him.

“The second reason is to do with his family. His wife doesn’t like the look of Naples, that is the rumour, so she would prefer Turin.

“Considering the Pozzo family has given its word to Napoli, we’ll have to see if they can convince Inler to change his mind.”

Great to see we haven't lost our appeal, eventhough we aren't playing Europe

P.S I agree regarding Sorenson, he has potential, I would rather see him staying

That's the line up I posted earlier on today. It is quite fap worthy, isn't it?

Sorenson definitely has massive potential IMO. Remember, he's only 18. Keep him in the side as a back up for Lichtsteiner or for our CBs he'll definitely grow in this team. It would be a shame to lose him.
