What can they do? We've a price already agreed with Napoli for Quag. The player rejected Napoli we have nothing to do with that :p

Forza Beppe!

It's Napoli's fault for being cheap bastards. We have a great relationship with Udinese so I believe this will go through smoothly. We've the agreement with Inler.
Let's hope you are right :champ:

What relationship?
De Laurentiis a friend of Agnelli's. Quagliarella-deal. Mainly us as always being gentlemen (not raiding Samp for Pazzo and Cassano last summer)

We should keep Melo and buy Inler.

Inler-Pirlo-Melo in a 4-3-3, that would be hard to break down.
No doubt about that. Plus Pirlo could roam around as he wishes, which is how he's most effective.

Then just get a very, very good option for the left side of the attacking three and we have a solid midfield and attack.

But, doesn't sound like this is going to happen.

Hm could be coincidence in your case or my case; but I usually had the impression they played something like this

Handanovic
defence
Isla Pinzi Asamoah Armero
Inler
Sanchez Di Natale
He wasn't really a trequartista per se. In reality Udinese plays with a lot of leeway for their central midfielders; all three attack and defend. I'd classify Inler as a box-to-box player myself, certainly not a holding midfielder.

Buffon
Lichtsteiner-Bonucci-Chiellini-Ziegler
Inler-Pirlo-Melo
Krasic-Matri-Sanchez

Sanchez would be the perfect player on the left side.

No I agree with that, but i'm just saying that classying him as defensive player isn't really accurate. He's been playing in an offensive role this season. He's been allowed more freedom to attack for a reason.

Yeah, he's not a defensive or holding player, that's for sure. He can really do it all in midfield and that's why I consider him a box-to-boxer.

Things were pretty flexible, but it generally looked more like:

Inler

Isla-Pinzi-Asamoah-Armero

Sanchez

Di Natale

Inler would move higher up the pitch at times, with one of the other players dropping deeper to cover, but Pinzi and Asamoah spent more time high up the pitch than Inler did in the games I saw.

The important thing is that Inler is a good, well rounded midfielder who can offer something in a variety of systems..
