Marco Silva is probably a made up rumor.

He was hyped a decade ago and since then bounced around in mid-bottom in the PL.
He was connected to Juve a couple months ago fwiw. Could just be Jorge Mendes throwing his name out there. I don’t really trust Di Marzio, and he’s been the main guy pushing the name.

I'm surprised we haven't seen strong Mourinho links
Just a matter of time until one of these journos throws his name out there. May as well cover all the bases if you’re just guessing.

90% of it is easily media invented.

Easier to do because Juve has been a circus for years. So fans are more easily to buy any wild speculation. Even ludicrous ones of tone used in phone calls.

Our management isn't even officially announced yet. They are preemptively working behind the scenes. But not as much as media claim.

So anyone know anything about Genesio?

Trust me, a very average manager

True story, one of my friend's who used to play football and thought of himself as a below average footballer, played against Genesio's first side Villefranche, he told me that he played one of his best games against them.
I think we end up seeing what Tudor does in club World Cup and if he does well, he stays. If not Mancini or outside shot Inzaghi

I truly think the Tudor idea is not happening, if it was he would have been confirmed by now.

Inzaghi is not going to happen, that story was born out of his friendship with Paratici when we wanted Inzaghi some years ago.

Mancini can fuck off, but again I doubt that will happen.

We will see I think a lot of the speculation is media driven and a lot of the names and stories we hear are all fake news

Why? We don't even have a sporting director yet... Every major decision is probably on hold 'till then.

I'm seriously struggling here... Pioli / Genesio / Silva....

Quite literally a tie of who is the worst.
If it's not Tudor (who I think it should be) then I would go for Palladino. He's a gamble and inexperienced but did very well at Monza and Fiorentina.

I understand that he is not the ideal profile after coming from Motta last year and I'd prefer a tougher/more experienced coach. But he's had 3 good seasons in a row, he showed he could balance playing in Europe and for me a more interesting option than Pioli or Silva or Genesio.

Sky Sport - Marco Silva had already been contacted by Giuntoli

:shifty:
Toli at it again.

Off season and rumors are flying around. Stop believing every trashy media outlet and enjoy the summer, gents. There will be enough suffering once the season kicks in.

I came here to write exactly the same thing.

Stop believing every stupid clickbait you see. "Jurno's" are having a field day with Juve in spotlight, you know we are still big name who attract a lot of attention and clicks.

The problem is that our management are unpredictable and it is entirely believable that they would go for these guys that the journos write.

If you told me a year ago we'd sign Lloyd Kelly for 25m I wouldn't have believed you but now it's easy to believe the stories.

So if not Conte (who we had all the reasons in the world to want him) than random jabroni?
I mean I guess 9 out of 10 here didnt even know he exists before this link.
Why is our target has to be random and not a calculated decision?

I mean we have lost a few options now and need to think fast but lets do it properly.
We need a coach who is excellent in building teams and impose a clear yet effective style of play.
If we cant find one - Just hire Ranieri for 1 year or even give Tudor a full season chance (although I really dont like the last one)

Honestly at this point I`ll just settle for Ranieri as I dont think there are any top tier managers available (Yeah Zidane and Klopp arent really options)

More I read about Silva more interesting he becomes.

First thing that stands out is he’s tactically versatile, has implemented both 3 and 4 man back lines. I also read him saying he’s more worried about playing to his players strengths rather than getting them to fit into a specific system. That’s gold to me, he’s the antithesis to Motta in that regard. He gets the best out of his players.

He’s way more intriguing to me than someone like Pioli and Gasperini.
Pioli might make a surprise and might fail badly. I wouldnt like
Gasperini - I see Koop becoming better but the players a bit confused. I wouldnt like
Silva - He is the only one I cant say I dont like since I dont even know him. It just feels like a panic signing after failing to get the one we wanted.
