I just hope he doesn't end up a failed experiment like Sarri. The one positive is there are no senatori and big ego's in this squad as pointed above. It's a very young squad by JJ standards so hope to see some improvement in our football + results. He's 67. I hope he has the energy and motivation to succeed in what will be his last big gig.
An old washed up man with a bad attitude with a bunch of young, good looking people…hmmmm….reminds me of someone. #GasperiniIsland

How much of Atalanta's success was due to Gasperini? The real brains of their operation was Giovanni Sartori (who is now doing incredible work at Bologna) & more recently Tony D'Amico.

It is really embarrassing that our Plan A, B, and C was Antonio Conte, with no backup plan.

Now we are scrambling for Gasperini and competing with Roma.

Imagine what Tudor is thinking. Imagine what the playing group are thinking.

We look like a bunch of fucking wankers.
Do you think Lookman, CDK, Retegui, Gosens, Koop etc, etc all started performing well at Atalanta because of the sporting director or the coach?

Don't know how it pertains to Euro soccer but in US sports usually coaches the level of Conte, Kloop, and Zidane would prefer going to a team that already had a decent squad with only a few additions needed. Seems easier to do a 180 going from bad to good in on e year. with soccer. What quality manager would want come here knowing all the work to be done? Juve have to put out big bucks to get him and don't see it happening.

Keeping Giuntoli would sadly astonish me and #1 priority should be him gone.

The sporting directors help build the team but certainly don't coach them.

How many players performed better before arriving at Atalanta, or after leaving? That's mostly on Gasperini and his staff.

Basically every wingback, mezzala, and second striker was way better under Gasperini than without him.

There is zero pressure in that environment and no one expects you to win silverware. If you fuck up, no one cares.

Gasperini lasted 5 games at Merda.

At Juventus there is nowhere to hide.
