That's about it 'though. It's not like this is a real opportunity to shine... He could finish fourth, which is only normal for this squad. Nothing impressive about it, any monkey should be bale to do it. But that's about all he could do too... More room for error than succes with only a handful of games left.

Allegri being named. Lol @ the lazy ass journalism.
But he did much more with a weaker squad and it has to be recognized at this point..

If that really is the list. Then I'm ready for it...
Its not about if we finish 4th or not but how do we claim that 4th spot.
For example - He could make the team look solid and play as a team getting impressive showings which will make us and the board want to see him with us for next season.
He could also do what you said and get that 4th spot by playing bad and look the same - In that case he wouldnt be considered for next season.
In any case - Leading Juve and making a change is something that should appeal almost every coach (except for the obvious ones like Ancelloti who manages Real, Slott who manages Liverpool, Pep who manages City and the likes of them).
It would be stupid on his part to turn it down unless he tries to convince the board to take him as a coach for next season and let someone else clean the mess. In that case he would be delusional as its obvious that we will contact other managers.
In other words - The chance that he would be getting it would be insane on his part to turn Juve down.

Pioli is now mentioned as a possible caretaker...
Tuttosport claim Gasperini is currently at the lead.

If I'm going to take another 'risk' it would be Gasp but I fear that no one other than Conte could turn this around tbh.
Yap, I feel the same. I like Gasperini and he is one of my favorite but it feels like any coach who we would like to get we should postpone his arrival until Conte build foundations.
