The most realistic option is Roberto Mancini.

Also wouldn't be surprised if some of our former players like Sousa or Padoin come in. That wouldn't be the solution but another problem.

Zidane of course remains a dream. Has everything that we need desperately at this point.
The most realistic is we stick with Motta.
Should we decide to change, I doubt we go for anyone but Conte.

I have a conspiracy theory: Pep is losing all the games on purpose because he wants to be fired so that he can take over at Juve in January.
Lol. Even if he does want to join and City let him go, it will be in the summer and to a team that can pay him like PSG.
Anyway he is not going anywhere

Coaches can't solve the current issue.

Ownership is the issue. When the message from above is "Top 4 is our objective", you can expect mediocrity.

Ownership want the Arsenal model - top 4 every year and be financially sustainable, but couldn't give a fuck about actually winning anything. It disgusts me.

Motta will only be fired if we miss out on UCL qualification. Manglement don't care about anything else.

I didn't have to read anything further because you started by stating the god damn truth.

Look I have very little in depth knowledge of the article from this site ..... https://totalfootballanalysis.com/a...no-at-monza-2022-23-tactical-analysis-tactics

Though from reading it and my own looking into basic Monza stats from last season Raffaelle Palladino would be my choice moving on from Max without going to a retread coach whose had top tier soccer success previously (no guarantee happens at Juve ex. Allegri) without breaking the bank.

Monza 55.6% possession and pass% at 84.6 both ranked 4th in league both higher than Juve. Like mostly any sport greater possession usually helps in better results. Though this is for the entire season but who knows numbers if not including first 6 matches Palladino wasn't coach? Do know instead of 48 goals for and 52 against for -4 GD, it becomes 45 for and 39 against for +6 GD. And record goes to 14W - 9L - 9D.

I know maybe not knowing enough some might say I'm cherry picking numbers but believe a guy like this is worth the shot over getting another high profile coach costing the team millions like Max. We all know every top tier EPL team would have canned Max way before now regardless of how much money owed.
Knew Max had to go but here was my first choice replacing him. Okay with Motts too but thought going the cheaper route was better in costing less to replace. And wow presently looking like possibly Palladino wouldn't have to be replaced?

Yep and he's being so methodical just like when Robert De Niro literally drove a taxi to prepare for his role in Taxi Driver or Christian Bale lost weight for the Machinist.

Pep is losing to be prepared for it at Juve.

He failed at Inter. Some coaches are simply better off at smaller teams.
He was handed an aging squad and were in desperate need of a rebuild after the treble.

Team was absolutely ancient and should of had longer IMO.

I would disagree on this part actually.
We need a drill sergeant coach badly. And we needed one since the last year of Allegris 1st stint.
The team is complacent and consistently underperforms for years now. This squad too can do a lot better, but it does not need a strategist or a fantasista coach, it needs a well oiled boot up their lazy asses.

Can we maybe try a foreign coach if this doesn't work out?

I mean what difference does it make nowadays when most of the squad isn't even Italian. Limiting ourselves to 1 nation in the entire world is stupid.
