I'd think he'd be kept at Milan for his ties with Brazil, and getting more youngsters like Pato in. Used to be a scout there as well if I remember correctly.
Assuming that ties are going to be broken with Milan, Do you think that he would be a good fit at Juventus?

I think so. Its not a strecth of the imagination to say that he faced the similar amount of pressure that Ferrara did, with a team on paper, that probably wasn't as good as what Ferrara had at his dsiposal.

Personally, I wouldn't be upset at all if they made a call to him if he wanted to leave.

I know that this coach has made some true rookie mistakes, but he has taken an old, decrepit team, able to mix some youngsters in there, and has quite honestly done a much better job with what he has than a lot of other coaches would, especially considering this is first year doing it with no experience at this level.
I really don't think Leonardo has done any better than was expected (at least compared to my personal expectations).
As for doing a better than a lot of other coaches would have at Milan, I don't know but I would tend to disagree. He has a top 3 squad at his disposal & he is gonna finnish in the top 3.
That's obviously not bad, but it's not exactly great either.

Well,let me ask you this.

What did you expect out of Leonardo this year?

They sold their best player in Kaka and basically did nothing to re-inforce the squad, and he has managed to get a decent season out of Ronaldinho.

The average age of that squad is ridiculously high, and he has managed to squeeze everything out of them that he could.

What were the pre-season expectations of this squad. At best, 3rd?? Some prognasticators had them at mid-table, considering what he was left with.

Add in the fact that he works in a pressure cooker in Milan, and it is his first year as a coach.

I think he has done a lot better than what most people expected.

He's young, he's forward thinking, likes to play exciting football, and most importantly to a lot of people here, he is not Italian.

Whatever you think of Leonardo, do you really think he'd come to Juve this summer? Immediately after leaving Milan?
I think that if the situation presents itself, considering his apparent disdain for Berlusconi and his way of approaching things, I can't see why not.

From everything I've read, he has handled most of this adversity with class.

But I guess the question that I am asking is, what do you think of him as a coach?

Allegri is a gimp.

I want Blanc
I'd take a chance of Prandelli
I'll Settle for Benitez.

None of it matters a shite if Blanc and Secco are still here next season.
#1) Who wouldn't want Laurent Blanc, but would he be willing to move?
#2) For the most part of the season, I was a huge supporter of Prandelli. His bodly language though for the past couple of months look to me like he has given up, and that isn't something that I would want here. Besides, he's earmarked to be the new NT coach, anyway.

#3) I'm on the fence about Benitez. In my opinion, he is living off of his reputation at this point. And I haven't been a big fan of his recent transfers the past couple of seasons, either.

What I expected of Milan & Leonardo was finishing 3rd (behind Inter & us) => looks very likely at the moment.
As for the CL, I expected them to pass the 1st round fairly comfortably & possibly go as far as the quarter finals or even semi's, depending on the draw(s) obviously. But since they were partnered with Man U pretty early, it was only logical for them to go out.

Milan (and Leonardo) has achieved exactly what I was expecting. So for me that's an ok season, nothing more, nothing less.

Though I will admit that Milan this season has usually looked better than last season. Which in the end means very little, if anything.

And to answer your initial question: I do not think he would be the right guy for Juve right now.
His Milan ties would mean that a couple of (inevitable) bad results would lead to an immense pressure (from media & fans alike), prohibiting him to do his actual job. Much more so than it would be the case for an outsider.
Furthermore, he also doesn't strike me as a born authority figure & he has little experience, which makes it even harder to command authority.

Fair enough, but in response to your last statement, every coach starts out with no experience, don't they?
