Torres was seen on the bench with an ice pack on his knee. And N'Gog really should have scored the last chance which he brushed with his toe IMO.
Torres was fine, the ice pact was a precaution, you could see that Torres didn't want to come off and Benitez even said that it wasn't because of his knee, it was because he was tired.

The fact that N'Gog should have scored sums up that it was a bad move.

If you are desperate for the top 4, have half an hour remaining against a Birmingham team that have been poor recently, then you have to keep your key player on the pitch.

Aquilani: 'Rafa staff ask about Juve'
Saturday 10 April, 2010
Alberto Aquilani has admitted to Italian newspapers that Liverpool staff discuss the possibility of Rafa Benitez going to Juventus.

“Benitez has not asked me anything about Italy or Serie A, but we do often discuss these issues with members of his staff,” the midfielders told Tuttosport.

“In my view Benitez is a great Coach and he would be very successful in Italy too.”

Juventus have been linked with the Spaniard for several months and there were even reports he could quit Liverpool early to take charge when Ciro Ferrara was sacked.

Current boss Alberto Zaccheroni has failed to turn the tide, as the team dropped to seventh place following a 3-0 defeat at Udinese.

He's a coach that takes a negative approach to football, but if your not concerned with positive attractive football and you just want results, i don't see why you'd say no to a coach like Rafa.
And that's why I think he would be a good option. :D

at this moment I don`t care how we play as long as we won`t suck like we do now
7th place?! We are Juventus not Sampdoria or something! Even if we don`t win it we should at least compete for the scudetto!
Roma who should be inferior to us are starting to bug Inter a bit
This season with how Inter are performing this season should have been ours

What's the general concensus on Pellegrini? And who could he bring to Juve?
decent coach. did a good job with villareal. he seems like a guy that can work on a long project of building a team with little money.

he could probably bring rossi.

in b4 andy telling us rossi traitor bla bla bla fml.

didn't say i want him.

i like coaches like pellegrini becaue they have long term projects in mind. i want a coach like that because he is more likely to build a team from cheap talent, and could develop youth, instead of relying on expensive transfers.

the problem here is that these long term projects demand patience from fans. and juve fans as we all know are mostly impatient faggots, so he will be deemed a failure after 3 months in charge.

Why should he be considered a traitor?
because he was born in usa and lived there for a number of years in his early life but chose to play for italy because of other reasons (read: why play for sucky usa when one can play for italy?)

but there is a thread to discuss this issue in the international football sub forum. so take it there

I'm impatient and want to win now. Hiddink sounded great to me. I'd even be happy with Capello.
every fan wants team to win titles right away. i'm just saying guys like blanc, pellegrini, prandelli need time to build there teams. time that fans of juve will never give them if they ever took charge here.
