I'd be happy if we signed just one good fullback, left or right, and i agree with dule90, we have enough average defenders atm, just spend on some1 who is quality.

    we'll be stuck with 2-3 players. :p

would be nice if we could do that and add other players but we still can't vote again.

One season is enough for me to know Sagna will subscribe for the world's best right back title for the next ten years or so. We'll never get him.

Maybe we can create the ultimate poll then where we have all players who got more Y than N in one poll. But it would be nice if we can separate them within the poll itself.

yeah, YOU could do that. :D

Over at J1897 you can make one thread with multiple polls in it. Would be nice if it could be done here.

how can anybody not mention Valon Behrami of Lazio?? He is born for Serie A, great skill, great speed and very young. I think Juve should buy him for right and in left De Cegile and Chiellini, because Juve will buy a central defender and when Andrade turns form injury, Criscito from loan, Mellberg form A.Villa and Leggrotaglie and maybe Stendardo plus another who will Secco buy, there will be too much defenders, so we do no need to buy a left back, only a right one.
I think the defense must look like this: Behrami, Zebina, Grygera, Andrade, Criscito, Chiellini, Mellberg, Leggrotaglie, Chiellini, De Cegile, and i think Mikah Richards or Lucio would be perfect for us.

Just something i read this morning on goal.com which is probably completely untrue and does not even say in my opinion that he wants to come back to juve, but it may be of interest to some readers here.

Zambrotta: I Could Return To Juve

Barcelona full back Gianluca Zambrotta has admitted that he would be open to a return to former club Juventus this summer.

The 31-year-old enjoyed a hugely successful seven seasons in Turin before leaving the city for Barcelona following the Calciopoli crisis in the summer of 2006.

After two trophy-less seasons in Catalonia, Zambrotta is almost certain to move back to Italy this summer, due to the fact that he and his wife are both homesick.

The Italian press had been virtually unanimous in agreeing that the ex-Bari man would be moving to AC Milan, however there has recently been the odd mumbling that a shock return to Juve could be on the cards.

"I experienced an extraordinary period of my career in Turin,” Zambrotta admitted.

“When meeting Juventini, so many fans ask me to come back and I must admit it is always good to feel wanted."

Juventus are looking for a new left back, as current first choice Christian Molinaro has been a little suspect defensively this season.
Zambrotta will be on show at Euro 2008 this summer, in what will be his fifth straight major championships for Italy.
