i am using Roxio Easy CD and DVD creator Platinium but i was wondering if Nero Burning Rome (the new version) was better.

Yeah I've used both, but i didn't see the need to switch over to Roxio. Roxio also tends to make more start-up processes and gave me some problems with the IMAPI interface

Nero is annoying in the way that it puts 2 second gaps between the songs, but it i know you can stop them, but its just annoying when you forget. Espeically for me when i burn my trance cds that fade into one another. But even when i take away the two second gap, there still is a split second of silence. Any one know how to fix this? I ve never used Roxio so i couldnt tell you which one i prefer.

I'm pretty sure you can set Nero to not put that gap by default, and AFAIK you don't get a split-second of silence if you burn with this option.
