Just finished watching the game..our defense sucks Zebina is shocking and Grygera just cant cut it at centre back.

Andrade and Chellini were solid though.

Sali is a real hard worker but not creative

Tiago and Almiron should not play together, Tiago doesnt have the defensive qualties we need and pushes forward to much leaving us exposed.

Almiron is the shit, great passes and vision and a tough bastard.

Nedved was our best player just a typical performance from him, though im worried that we have to rely on a 35yr old for our attacks.

Iaquinta is frustrating, he has good pace and skill but is greedy, not a good finisher and dives and complains to much.

Trez was lively but couldnt finsh his chances.

Subs? Crisctio was solid at centre back, Molinaro was nervous at first but soon settled.

Nocerino and Zanetti were solid defensivly but useless in attack, we should play one of them With Almiron.

Palladino was lively, same with Del Piero though he was a bit greedy and a bit over weight.

Hopefully Ranieri was still testing the players strenghs and weakness and we wil see the real Juve soon.

P.S Birindelli has nothing left to offer us.

didnt saw the game but looking the highlights it seems juve was all over sunderland but cant put the ball in to the net. iaquinta had 2 great chanses, trez had a good chanse what was luckly deflected by the gk.

and the goal by sunderland, second time when the opponent scores from rebound, (first was against newcastle). why wasnt there player standing on the post?
someone said this has always been the case/problem for juve, but i do remember that we have had players guarding the posts while a corner is taken in previous years.

Im personally satisfied with the friendlies we have played, we took on opposition who are way head in terms of fitness, although i do think birra moretti is a different matter, winning inter is a must be it friendly or in the league.

still think we shuda kept miccoli and played him on the right side of the 4-3-3, o wait hes blossoming for palermo :wallbang:
I never thought he wouldn`t shine
Miccoli is a great player and the sad thing is that we have given up on him for who?! for Iaquinta who is not half talented as Miccoli

Let palermo enjoy their honeymoon with that idiot. He made great achievements by scoring 200 goals in friendly matches.

Let's see what he'll do in the official matches, and please don't make him appear as a loss for Juve because he is surely NOT.

I would say we have been worse at freekicks, both offensively and defensively, than Milan and many other big teams over the years. Many of the goals scored against us, especially with Cannavaro and Thuram, came off of set pieces in Serie A and the Champions League. Then offensively, I don't remember us scoring a clean goal off of a set piece since Del Piero or Nedved in 2004, and it's quite obvious we don't have a freekick specialist.

However, Almiron could be that player as he does take good freekicks.
Del Piero scored from a free kick in 2005, 2006 and he definitely scored a couple last season.
