it was in no way a friendly...Zaragoza was out to prove something, and went for blood...literally

I knew there would be problems when Zaragoza fielded their full compliment of starters, while we had mostly reserves. To say that Zaragoza played a dirty game would be an understatement. Nocerino felt that wrath when he was taken out from behind by an ugly tackle (I thought his ankle was broken), and most of our guys were manhandled at one point or another during the game

Our defense collapsed twice, and that is where we are going to suffer most this season

i'm assuming we didn't come full force. personally i would take this as a measuring stick if we did but if not then I'm not sure how we will be able to test ourselves among other clubs around the world without a bid to CL or UEFA. Small bitch matches like these may seem harmless and pointless to some but that’s my take on it, especially since it’s a rebuilding period for our club.

It sux that we lost tho
