I blame Marchisio, but when Bonucci is playing, people here blame him every time.
Rightfully so.

Sure, Marchisio (or whoever) can be blamed for losing the ball without a doubt. But our defense has to fix that problem by covering and marking well which they didn't do. It was horrible defending and of course they should be blamed.

when we play against teams on the level of milan and sassoulo i hope we will field 3 strikers from time to time, we really don't need the numbers in defense against them

It wasn't a builded up play from Milan. Marchisio gave the ball to Milan, giving them a highway towards our goal. Most defenders are going to look stupid that way.
Yes, but not at a top team.

Barzagli-Chiellini would have handled that, or made the goal significantly harder to make

THIS, was very poor anticipation and positionning of the central defence

Actually, Bonucci will cost less points then Luiz
Nope, no way.

Just watch highlights of our matches ever since we signed Bonucci and watch him when we're conceding. The guy is pure walking disaster and whoever fucks up in our defense you can bet your ass it's Bonucci in 95% of the cases.

And no, I'm not saying Luiz is great. And yeah, his transfer fee was nothing but retarded.

But there's no way Bonucci is a better player, that's pure BS.

Most defenders will look stupid in situations like this. Just look at Evra - he slipped. You don't give away balls like that in midfield, especially not, when your cb's are Ogbonna and Bonucci.

Depends. Put Bonucci next to an anticipating defender who commands the backline and he's better then luiz

ask Bonucci to be the anticipating defender and command the backline, and luiz is quite a bit better

Ogbonna was marking a man at the back post. He can't anticipate Evra to fall on his face and leave Honda open. You're getting extremely irritating talking about the CBs over and over in every post.

Bonucci wouldn't be hired as Luiz' shoe shiner. He's not even good enough to be that.

The fact he was manmarking at the back post at that point says enough.
