Just like every year at Villar Perosa, the match on the field ended up being a side dish to the rest of the day. The presence of Andrea Agnelli for the first time as president, that of his cousin John Elkann and the first match of Krasic as a bianconero catalyzed the attention of the supporters and the media.

Del Neri fielded Storari in goal, Grygera, Bonucci, Ferrero and youngster Belfasti in defence, Martinez, Sissoko, Felipe Melo and Lanzafame in midfield and Del Piero and Diego as attacking duo.

The match was a real one thanks to the Primavera who showed itself as being up to the match. The first actions were by Bucaro’s team with Filippo Boniperti (another surname well known to the area) and Bianconi showing great skills.

After 0 minutes of equilibrium Del Neri’s team scored the opener thanks to one of the new faces. It was in fact Martinez who broke the deadlock taking advantage of a defensive error. Just before the half hour mark, Diego made it two receiving a well deserved applause from the public from a curving right-footed shot into the top corner.

The second half saw the usual numerous substitutions with the Senior Squad on the field with Manninger in goal, Motta, Legrottaglie, Ferrero and Belfasti in defence, Spinazzola, Giandonato, Marchisio and Buchel in midfield and the “baby duo” of strikers formed by Giannetti and Libertazzi.

The Primavera has the best during the starting minutes scoring thanks to Bianconi after a couple of minutes, however the excitement was not over. Marchisio and Motta created the 3-1 goal before leaving the field to the youngsters. Libertazzi scored twice (one of which goals with a spectacular overhead kick on the 90th minute). The match ended with rain which wet the Juventus supporters in Val Chisone and a 5-1 result which archived the 2010 edition of the feast of Juve at Villar Perosa that is evergreen with the passing of years.
