Saw where this could be starting 11 for Sat. Maybe I don't know **** but this is the lineup I would be fine with to start league play. No way you get Costa and Berna to sit even though I now agree with posters who think Mario M should start above Berna. Also by play so far rather have Claudio in there than Sami.

Looks like a team set up to win lots of close low scoring matches. No matter what lineup begins this year, will be better on paper than that one.

Of course Alves was great but expect the old guy not to be that good this year. Rugani will push Barza into not being a necessary starter and 2 guys on that list who might not be on the roster by the end of the month. Plus what additional player/s might come aboard?

It's a deep squad who Max hopefully can juggle the key sub players into position to get the most out of them. Only worry is if MDS isn't the missing piece in the backline being the stable, coherent group it was for many years with Bonucci.
