We lost summer friendly vs Atletico 2 years ago 4-0, so surely nothing can be worse then that lol
I expect a 3-0 but who knows.. We might do worse.
I have 0 believe in a draw or a win as our team is far away from being complete and Atletico arent Brest.

We will lose. The biggest reason is not because our squad is thin. The real reason is that aside from a few new players, the team is not yet adapted to Motta's style of football which is night and day to Allegri's style. I expect there will be errors that will expose us defensively. But no matter what happens, we have to stay the course because once the team gets it right, we will see a different team.

The only problem if this transition get some resistence from the players especially the dressing room leaders. Everything can happen, we can see how Danilo feel pity for those who sidelined. This can be a reason for a later backlash, he can see this is not a good treatment

If the defender will become the problem in adopting the style (from rigid defensive structure to more free flowing movement). This department will the first to sound their opinion and it is easier to blame the coach than to blame themself

I think Motta need to evolve and start with a more defensively solid approach of his 4-1-4-1 (4-3-3) and when we have the possession, one of the midfielder (the more attacking one ) can become the attacking midfielder and the wide midfielder will go up to support the attack, the DM and another midfielder will scan for the movement when the possession is lost and become our first wall for counter attack

After the player get in touch with the benefit of their movement to creating more space to exploit, then we can adopt the more aggresive style.
Like a baby, teach them to walk first before they learn to run, except most of the squad is changing and we have most of the players that ready to run

The key that we need 3 more players at least (which is what Giuntoli said in Motta interview)
- ball playing defender
- central attacking midfielder
- attacking winger
