HT

I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. The way we've crossed the ball quickly out on the flanks after retaking the ball several times, is one tendency that stood out for me.

Far from boring, not eventful in terms of chances, but we have seen quite good football, excellent combinations and passing. Dont get how that is boring.

Liking Amauri whenever he gets the ball.

Waiting eagerly for a certain magical mofo to enter. Badly suffering from Il Capitano withdrawals, I have gone a month and a half without seeing him with a ball! :( :D

how are Trez and Amauri playing as a partnership?

I know Amauri has scored but are they linking up together?is Amauri dropping a little deeper?

We're at least a class better than Dortmund.

You guys can say whatever you want about our team. Yeah, probably we won't win serie A this year but make no mistake, it will be extremely hard for the rest to beat us.

actually they're not. i have my worries about the Amauri-Trez partnership. Not one pass between the two attackers, and i really don't see the harmony you can see between Del Piero and Trez, or even maybe Iaquinta-Amauri. I have to admit that in general, we didn't do much up front, so there was little possibilities for them to show. But trez was invisible (except for one shot and one offside), amauri was pretty good; he got the goal, made 2 or 3 crosses, and managed to get the ball forward also. I HOPE ranieri shows us the so expected 4-3-3. I'd expect Poulsen for sissoko and del piero for a midfielder (nedved?). Then we'll see.... In 75th minute, i'd take out trez for iaquinta.

FOr the rest, our defense looks alright. Molinaro a little disappointing, chiellini ot bothered much, mellberg pretty invisible, grygera pretty good, also going forward. Camoranesi seems to lack fitness and practice. Made some bad passes and also does not seem the quickest on the pitch. Dortmund doesn't find a way through our defense. They loose the ball easy, but we're not pushing for counter-attacks
