We played pretty poorly throughout but obviously there was nothing at stake and the most important thing is that we didn't get any injuries.

For some reason the section where I was sitting barely had any Juve fans and everyone around me was celebrating when the All Stars scored.

When Pepe scored I stood up on my seat, turned around and yelled in their faces :ferocious

Such an awesome feeling seeing my boys shut everyone up!

352 with oddbonnah, bonucci and our 2 ageing wingbacks is a recipe for disaster.

I pretty much prefer a 433 with pepedinho rather than using our 352 that barely worked with conte.

Allegri, it will just not work for you.

even lichtsteiner was caught out of position several times
We need to consider few things here; most of our key players were protagonists at the WC, therefore these were given prolonged vacation and only ten days ago started with preparations. It's only natural that we don't look good on the pitch at this point. Last year Juve played TIM trophy vs the likes of Sassuolo after 20 days of intensive training and we were outplayed for the majority of the game, managed to barely drew. USA tour came month after the preseason started, and players by that time should have been in better condition, but even then we failed to show much progress. Most remember our game as dull, uninspiring, feet were heavy. There's also a new coach and adaptation period. Give it time.

Exactly. I mean, it's fair to have some concerns, but would be nice to see criticism a little more nuanced, and not just assuming that us letting in two goals in a friendly mean we will have a shit defense this season etc.

Watching Juve live was great.

What wasn't great was their style of play, or lack thereof.

2 players who stood out for completely the wrong reasons were Bonucci and Marchisio.

Even my mates who never watch Juve were asking me how the hell these guys play for Juve, and when I said they for the Italian national team, they were dumbfounded and one remarked "no wonder they left the World Cup early". Spot on my friend, Spot on.
