The 33-year-old is out of contract at Arsenal and his agent held talks with Juventus last week.

However, it would appear Gallas didn't like the offer Juventus made him, which comprised of a two-year deal worth €2m a season.

Gallas had apparently asked for €94,000 a week, a demand that Juventus were unprepared to meet.

Reports in Turin also claim that Juventus' new boss Gigi Del Neri had second thoughts about signing Gallas.

Roma are also interested in signing him, although they are unlikely to meet his demands given their financial plight. [/FONT]
