Well, I had to buy myself some time to think it over, to give the escape from the hole I just dug for myself some thought. ;)

When is it a good time to judge a player? The only answer would be over a longer period of time, watching more than a handful of games.

The French team look like they don't want to be there, like nobody cares or even remotely agrees with, or likes, Domenech.

About the others.. Krasic did very little in his first game, but it's only one game. One bad game should never be used to call a player shit, nor should one good game lead to endless praise for a player. Same goes for Pienaar really.

It's not my fault though, that half of this forum start cutting their wrists when Krasic does little at the first WC game, or that half the forum made a mess in their pants when they saw Elia play for half an hour, all wanting to sign him immediately, calling him the best option on the left.

That said, if Krasic doesn't go past a single defender in all three group stage games, I'd take note of that. It wouldn't mean I'd call him shit, but I think it's fair to say I had expected more.

I obviously agree with you (as usual).

I was merely trying to point out that a lot of people on this forum either base their judgements on the last game they saw or only "judge" when it ties in with their own point of view / idea, which is even worse.

The Krasic case was a clear example of that. Either take both the good & the bad games into account, or don't bother forming an opinion at all...

There is no room for common sense on Juventuz!

I really couldn't agree more with you, though.

Well, one of them is going to end up having guessed right, as the opinions are so different and change on a daily basis. :D
