Wait till it's over to announce him that Ansaldi re-signed with Rubin.

Him + Naggaionlan (can't spell his name) in our midfield by the summer would make us have one of the best midfields in all of Europe! I wonder if we'll acquire both or just one of them. Main reason I want Naggaionlan is because I don't want Milan or Merda reinforcing the mids, I'm sure Raja would do GREAT at Peelan...so lets take him first:smoke:

Quoting these two from XT, for different perspective (non Juve fans) and little update (actually seen him regurarly), first is a Porto fan, ze other one a neautral:
id imagine the same stuff wouldve been said by juve fans if we were transferring marchisio at the end of last season as well...i guess its true, motivation can revitalise players to the beasts that everyone knows them to be..

    Guarin actually said that?

I have a soft spot for him as I used to buy him as a 16 year old wonderkid in FM years ago, and his friend also posted photos of him plaing FM on the sigames forum. Never thought he would make it this big :D
Good old Fredy :D.. I did the same! There was other good talents from Columbia.

How come before we were linked to him, the only players we ever wanted from Porto were Fernando and Rolando. Is it a Juventuz thing or is it a football evolution thing? Or is it nothing.

the other day we were talking with one of my friends who is just super knowledgeble in football, has a great eye for talent and know when he sees quality, so says "I'm surprised no one has snatched Guarin yet, he's a beast". And here we are.

I would prefer to see a decent Lb coming, or a solid backup/challenger for Lichsteiner. But Guerin can be very serious quality. he would make our possible midfield trio one of potentially the best in europe. Its MArchisio's present role, which seems most clearly at threat. Guarin as the more offensive than defensive central midfielder, with scope to attack and support the attack, as well as hustle. Pirlo as the mainly deep lying regista, with Vidal buzzing around him, gattuso-in-his-prime style. Could be so good to outweigh the dangerously shallow depth of our defensive potency.

Portugese media reporting that a deal has been struck and the announcement to come next week. I wonder though, if a deal is struck, why wait until next week to make the announcement?

I remember watching him in the last super cup game vs Barka, and being really really impressed.
    Why is Porto selling tho?

With Sorensen leaving, we really need a defender. Won't complain if this guy comes at the expense of Pazienza (hopefully)...I will, however, complain if it is at the expense of Marrone. :D
