Ask Conte.

Pioli is a great coach, he'll do great things with Freddy.

However, the option to buy 50% is cack. As Salv pointed out, it's the only way Bologna would make money out of him and give him playing time.

Why can't he play for us a few games here and there and try to knock out Bonucci?
"a few games" isn't enough at this early point in his career. Even if he makes a few mistakes at Bologna he'll be growing every game, and I'd rather he did it in his preferred position than a couple of Coppa games at right back.

We just have to hope he'll actually start there, otherwise this is a waste of time.

50% option is gay. We bought him for peanuts, so when Bologna decide to take up the offer to buy half his contract, then stays for another year while his value continues to increase...then when we decide to bring him back we end up pay 4-5m just to buy his OTHER HALF back. That's fucking ridiculous, especially when we bought him when he was what, 17 or 18 for like 500k, then 4 years later we find outselves trying to BUY HALF OF HIM BACK for 4-5m?

Same goes for Gio. He was OUR OWN YOUTH PRODUCT and some years late we are BUYING HIS CONTRACT BACK. It's soooo fucking dumb and counter productive.

I still can't believe we are giving them an option to buy half of him.

:sergio:

Apparently now that we want Gio back, Parma are valuing their part-ownership of him at 10MILLION DOLLARS! LOL, we had him for free as he was our own product, then we in some twisted parallel universe run by marotta have to chalk up at least 5m to get him back.

I don't even want to know what that converts to in Cronios's Bonucci Dollars. (CBD)

Ahhhh.....how i love this kid. Loan is a good thing for youngsters, but the problem with our current managemant is that loans have become give-aways in this Juve. Yes, it would be good if Juve said that Sorensen is worth 7 milion and that Bologna would have to pay them 7 mil if they want him, but this.....

I wouldn't be so bitter if we actually brought the people back and used them. Problem with loans is this:

1.) There is no guarantee that the club will play our youngster.
2.) No guarantee that they will play in their best position.
3.) You can't control the kind of tactics/coaching they are being taught.
4.) Most of the time we have better players they could learn from.
5.) These tend to lean towards us giving up part of their contracts.
6.) We can't control their development anymore.
