we're giving half a player who we paid 150,000 for, for the other half of a player who will bring is ~4.5 million euros...fine fred could be a good player in the future, but i think its a good deal, plus gives him consistent playing time, and if he really improves, we can easily outbid bologna for him

cause we still have: grygera and motta, and 95% signing lichtsteiner and possibly Beck. Grygera hopefully will be sold to some turkish club; motta to malaga/lazio/roma/juve stabia; so Lichtsteiner and Beck will be our first two right backs HOPEFULLY

A squad player who can play either when needed.

Hopefully we will sign Beck and lichstiener so he will probably be CB cover along with Barzagli.
Vital time in his career, he should be focusing on his natural position. Which is CB. He should get playing time in another club. He won't get it here.

Unless the board is planning to spend some real money in that position that there is no point in loaning out Sorenson to sign another Ariuado.
TBH I'd take another 4th choice over Sorensen any day. I want him to go and play regular football. Not be benched by Barzagli.

What are the chances of two CBs getting injured and Sørensen getting the chance there? Not much IMO.

I'm more concerned with this team's interests than I am with Sorenson's development.

Besides, it's not like our loans have been real successful in the past.
I wouldn't be concerned with the team's interest when it's about the 4th choice CB. It doesn't really matter who it is for the club.

For Sørensen's sake I hope he gets regular playing time.

To be honest, who the heck cares about Sorensen, if Sorensen's good isn't Juve's good? I guess some people will wish him well because they like the player, but for most, if Freddie ends up leaving, he's dead to us.

He had a half decent season last year but he is young, him getting experience is a good team, I think playing for a lower team makes defenders a lot more savy given the increased attack from bigger teams. If we actually make a significant profit with ekdal that would be a transfer coup no doubt about it.

That depends. If he is out of loan, he still means something. He is still a Juve-player.

If he is sold, it's another case.

Word.

What's in Juve's best interests is always more important than advancing the career of a popular youth player.
Why does it have to be separated? He needs to get more regular playing time to improve himself so that he can worth much more at Juve.
Having him as backup is good but only for the short-term, he needs experience in order to become a world class CB for Juve.
