Because we used Sørensen to stop Zarate, but Sørensen doensn't have any offensiv power. Motta can cross and get past one or two sculptures :D

And Motta needs to play as well IMO he will be getting the chance against Man City to prove his worth.
That's not true - he generally kicks the ball straight into whatever is infront of him hoping it will magically go through them

Sorensen's passing game is much better than Motta's - Sorensen even switches the ball to the other side at times - Never seen Motta do that

Sorensen is not the ideal right back but still - a defender should know how to defend first and foremost before anything else - at least Sorensen gets a big tick for that

He handled Zarate very well ripping the ball off his feet. We have an option to buy JUST for €150,000 great deal for us from Lyngby.

He reminds me of Chiellini. He look's so shaky with the long legs, but his tackles are excellent. Just like Chiello
I wouldn't say shaky but at times you think he has been skinned only for him to recover in the nick of time. For a big lad he handles the ball very well. Passes a bit to hard sometimes but that can be corrected. The thing I absolutely love about him is the ability to just run & run. I know he's 18 but that stamina is just wow.

I didn't know what word to use. But you know, it's like Chiello with the long legs. It looks like they can't control them but their tackles are perfect anyway.

He's young and inexperienced, but at the same time pretty calm and confident in situations where he has to defend, where he's not in possession. He's definitely doing a lot better than I had expected.

He could take more initiative with the ball at his feet, but for now I'm glad with the defensive work he does. The difference with Motta is huge in that area. He's calm and reliable enough not to give the ball away, usually delivering an accurate pass. In other words: He's all but a liability.

He played a very agile and good player in Zarate yesterday and did well for most of the time. Zarate outturned him a few times but he usually recovered really well.

This kid.

messed up? he did the absolutely right thing.
he tried to touch it back to storari but it went out , he did the right thing in his head with the intent, but that corner coulda given lazio a cheap goal. Notice how every juve player was in box

Yeps, he did an error there... but is understandable...

Luckily it ended in nothing.
What? It wasn't an error at all He was playing it safe. There was a mis-communication from storari and sorensen needed to ensure that his man didn't get in between him and the ball. Sorensen just guided the ball out knowing that he was going to have to concede a corner with not knowing exactly where his man was.

He was playing it safe, I would have done the same thing. Better to give a corner than risk bring the ball down in the box and losing it.
