When Bonucci was younger, he was the next big thing. Just like Freddy is now :shifty:
And look how fantastic that worked out.

Wouldn't you rather keep Sorensen and take the risk? What is worse?

Paying 15m (35m Cronios Dollars) for Bonucci only to have him be an idiot like he is now or the 200k we used to bring Sorensen and risk his errors?

I'd rather have a 200k risk than 15m(35m Cronios dollars) risk.

Don't you think at this point, with how bad Bonucci has been, that Conte would have used Sorensen at this point? Given what we know, then what does that tell you about the faith that Conte has in the kid?

So you are telling me that Conte thinks that Bonucci poses less risk than Sorensen? If that is the case, then shame on Conte.

We can only imagine. I'm glad that he's been loaned. As long as he gets playing time that is. Let him make his mistakes elsewhere, at a less pressure filled team and come back to us. We'll spend a few millions yes, but I'm willing to write it off as training fees :D

Its all about age. Italians perceive youth as a weakness probably resulting in nerves and poor decision making. If Sorenson were a few years older (with the same experience and record he has now) I genuinely believe that he would be played more often.

So then who do you, Hustini, and everyone else up in arms over this want to blame for what just happened? Do you want to blame Conte? Fine. Blame him, but he has been at the helm of a team currently in first place. Blame Marotta? Fine, but he got much more money than he paid for a player who wasn't even seeing the bench at Juventus. Or does everyone just want to throw caution to the wind and let a 19 year old play CB on a team fighting for first place and desperately need to qualify for the CL next year, or this club is fucked for the next 4 years. And to those who think that Sorensen would not be any worse than bonucci, don't you think that Conte has already thought about this seven ways to Sunday? Personally I love the kid. All you have to do is go back in this thread when he was playing last year. But it just might be the case where Conte doesn't see him as ready to play significant minutes.

But we will never know how Freddy would have done because we didn't have the guts to try him. Instead, we kept faith in the mis-firing Bonucci over and over again.

It's like Ferrara, Zacheroni, and DN keeping faith this the worst player ever, Amauri. Instead of trying a younger striker instead of one that never scores, we never tried...we wasted way too much time giving faith to players that didn't deserve it...at all.

Instead of giving younger players a shot at the big time and challenge this big earners for their right to a pay check, we never gave them the light of day.

Giovinco.
Criscitco.
Sorensen.
Ekdal.
Rossi.
Pasquato.

You are telling me that Giovinco couldn't offer more than Pepe? or Martinez? Or Giacherrini?
You are telling me that Criscito offered nothing more offensively or defensively than Molinaro or Grosso!?!
You are telling me that Sorensen is actually WORSE than bonucci without ever trying him in his natural role?
You are telling me that Ekdal, Rossi or Pasquato can add something to this team? in any capacity?

Why waste money on talentless or over the hill players like Grosso, Pepe, Amauri, Toni and IQ...waste transfer fees on them...waste even more in salaries and lucrative contracts but give ABOSLUTELY NOTHING to a young player that would give nothing more than to prove their worth?

Pfft.
