    guess what folks!

Okocha Is Better Than Zidane Too!

 How childish does that make you look going to bring up a thread that died in 2002 from a forum that died in 2002 as well to butress your point in a thread that is still active in 2005.

BTW, didn't you notice the difference in the response as compared to your people?

Excuse me but of the two of us, you appear to be the only one lacking in the intellectual capacity necessary for debate to occur. I brought that up to take the piss you moron, it wasn't a serious argument, more a mockery of what you just did in post #133 above.

Tbh I think you're best off staying in your fantasy/blog world where people actually give a shit when a Nigerian diplomat's cat is stuck up a tree.

:applause: and Tom gives Chxta a hit below the belt.

Lacking intellectual capacity, yeah right. I am waiting to see you win the Nobel prize!

    Back to the topic...

I was vindicated in my opinion that Lampard doesn't have the ability to take a game by the scruff of the next. Don't be a sore loser.

iirc you don't actually have to be a genius to win the nobel prize. Depends which one your on about actually.. literature, peace.. ?

You were not vindicated in your opinion one little bit. Its ridiculous to expect a player to single handedly donimate/turn any game in his team's favour. Even though the two aren't comparable its not as if Zizou, even in his prime, won matches for us on his own EVERY week is it?

I admit I'm getting a little bit frustrated by your inability to understand basic rational thought but you'll have to go some way till you can ever be in such a position as to call someone a sore loser. You couldn't win an argument with a braindead sloth.

Since I am so irrational for you why do you keep bothering your pretty? head giving me replies?

Face it you lost out in the argument and now you are trying to muddy the waters by changing the topic.

Answer the point then, if you're not changing the topic.

Actually, you haven't answered that question, or come even close to answering that question, in any of your posts in this thread. I've just skim read them to check. Thats probably because you never actually got asked that question before, I am asking it you again now.

Why are you complaining that in one match Lampard did not dominate the game, when no player has ever dominated each and every match to the degree you are asking. Zidane for one, never did.

Having said that, why should you care if a player dominated a match and turns a losing situation into a winning one.

    You said, and I quote

"Actually yes, end product is less important"

Surely this implies the exact opposite of what you're trying to argue.

And I didn't think Christians were supposed to use the name of their lord in vain, or is that just me?

Which proves to me you've never, or hardly ever watched him play. He's been MOTM several times this season alone, and is always close to being players player of the year etc.

Don't talk about what you don't know would be my advice

Yeah he has solid backup, the best holding mid in the world makelele. Your point being what exactly.. that he can't be man of the match simply because his back up is good? Can't you see who it is thats being ridiculously biased here?

What is going on here? This is a forum for rational, reasonable arguments fellas, not for a slanging match.

And to set the record straight, Zidane carried entire teams on his back, game after game. He dominated midfield after midfield. The job of his backup was simply to get him the ball so he could destroy the opposition. Zidane has a way of playing that sometimes makes the opponents wonder why the hell they got out of bed in the morning, why they bothered turning up for the game at all, if they shouldn't just score a few own goals rather than suffer the humiliation of being dominated by one man. I saw games where the opposition players were afraid to tackle Zidane cos they didn't want to become CNN's Play Of The Day. The only thing capable of slowing Zizou down was age, and it duly has.

Hence the utterly idiotic statement that some upstart Englishman, backed by the notoriously rabid English press, is better than him.

While Lampard does elicit some admiration, he does not inspire awe in the opposition. And he never will. Nobody is scared of him. Yeah, he hits a mean shot (when the ball is rolling) but he can be stopped. Lampard doesn't have the skills to take on players. He can't dribble, he can't drive his team forward, and as was painfully highlighted in the match with Man Utd, he has zero creative ability. When closed down in that game, all Frankie could do was pass the ball back to Makelele, as if to say, "I'm all out of ideas mate. Please help."
