This is the difference between Lahm and Molinaro....

If they made a highlight video of Molinaro, it would be 40 seconds long and him only being in a Juve shirt, Lahm's was at least in his National shirt.
40 seconds includes 20 seconds or slow motion and repeats

JK, Moli is not that bad..

OK, I will try to make Molinaro video for next week

Lahm is a right back. Even he said many times that he's a right back and wishes to play right back, but he is forced to play left back. He's doing a very solid job there though.
In Juve i'd play him in Grygera's position, not Molinaro's.

You sure of that??

I'm not a big follower of German football, but i distinctly remember him playing as rightback quite a few times, when Jansen was played on the left. I didn't think too highly of him there.

I do agree with the notion that Grygera needs to be replaced more urgently than Molinaro does, if thats what you're implying.

I would use him on the left when Zebina is fit.

Yeah, he's right footed and both in Stuttgart and Bayern he played left back only because of lack of quality and players on that side, and good quality on the right side (Hinkel and Sagnol). The moment Jansen arrived Lahm was again switched to his original position. But Jansen's injury forced Bayern's coach to play Lahm on the left again. Even for Germany at the last EURO he played as RB but after Jansen's disastreous performances, Lahm had to switch to LB again.

He's like Zambrotta, very versatile full back that can play on both sides. Defensively it doesn't change much if he plays on the right or on the left but in attack the advantage when playing on the right is that his crosses are much better and accurate, while the advantage of playing on the left is that he can cut-in towards the center and shoot on goal.

Since it doesn't really makes much difference where he's played, i'd pick him over Grygera and not over Molinaro only because i see Grygera as the weakest link of this Juve. Plus, we have enough fire power and we'll need Lahm because of his crosses more than we'll need his shooting.

I would use him on the left when Zebina is fit.
Me too.
But as Fred said..... :D

evra rarely plays this season..O shea plays way more games than evra does.
he's been suspended and injured way too many times this season.

i dont watch lahm so i cannot judge him..
Ashley cole is the best this season imo only because the right backs are taking over the show

Cashley Hole is having a good season, evra hasn't missed that many games, probably 5-6 league games till now. He's still the best in the league imo.

Lol, it's different with me because i watch Bundesliga and i rarely watch the EPL so i can't judge Ashley Cole.
But only 2 days ago a friend of mine who follows EPL told me that Ashley is not having a good season so now you confused me.

Fred?

P.S: Oh, you already answered it. Dunno what was that idiot watching then.

Well it isn't a good season by his standards, maybe thats what your friend meant. But when you come to think of it, he hasn't been himself ever since he joined Chelsea. Its like when someone comes out and says Ronaldo isnt having a good season, which is true if you compare it to his last few seasons, but it would be unfair to say that imo, because he's still one of the best players in the EPL. Cole is one of the top fullbacks in the league this season, but he isn't the player he used to be.

hey i posted that lol

ashley is not having his best season.. he is completely overshadowed by bosingwa on the other side... but he is the best due to the lack of great performances on this side.

evra missed 10 games according to the EPL website providing only 2 assists and no goals this season

You're expecting a fullback to score? he's having a very good season. Man Utd have missed him very much in the past few games, he offers them a lot on that left side, especially going forward.
