in robben's case the team had to worry about marking him and ribery and muller same time. too manyy good offesnvie players
in juve only him. he needs yildiz, koop and others to step up otherwise the attack will be predictable

So far he's created goals by both going on the outside of defenders or coming back inside on his left.

He's a winger that's shown he can create on either foot which is pretty much the opposite of a one trick pony.

If his trick is being able to dribble in either direction then I have no concerns whatsoever, based on what er have seen so far. The thing that would elevate him to the next level is adding more goals to his game.

Yeah he’s willing to take players on, but seems to be a one trick pony and you always know what he’s going to do. Way too often holds on to the ball when we should be passing to players in better positions.

I still think he should be signed permanently but needs to activate those brain cells or risk going down the Costa route.

No, thus far he’s shown he can cut in on his left to cross or shoot, go to the byline and use his other foot if required, run directly at an opponent like the Leipzig game and in yesterday’s game showed an ability to attract two players, realise nothing was on and went back to Savona which eventually led to the 1st goal. We’ve had plenty of one trick pony wide players over the years, he isn’t one of them.

Other than having a good turn of pace and being left footed there are no other similarities to Costa.

Cause he know the ball is better on his feet than if he pass to someone else, once he pass the ball to someone else, they will recycle and pass back to the defender and to the keeper and start all over again

The only time he pass is when he cross or after he goes to byline to passing cut inside

Such a likeable player.

He opens teams up so well and has a really good attitude. Even if something doesn't come off, he doesn't drop his head and will try again. Fully deserved his goal, he was unlucky on 2 shots in the first half and created at least 3 very good chances throughout.
