So to try and make some sense of this, basically he has a release clause of €45M right now and we decided to pay a close to €10M dry loan now to delay it and pay the same release clause of €45M next summer in case he does well this season while paying also the extra €10M for the loan (or later negotiate it for less if he doesn’t do great here).

Or is it even worst as in the €45M release clause won’t be valid next summer which means if he does well here anyone can outbid us later anyway, or otherwise we’ve just wasted €10M on a dry loan.

That’s not at all what it sounds like tbh.
We were never going to pay 30 mill this summer though, we literally have no money for anyone but Koop, as I said lets worry about next season when it matters this time next year.

I am not active for years but i am reading all time without login.
So some people here are not satisfied never.
Till yesterday everyone was telling that we need players we dont have depth etc..
And now when we are signing two very good players, same members are telling that we have overpaid for those players.wr have now great players we will sign maybe one or two until the end.
Lets enjoy the coming season.

Two things can be true.

June needed players so they can be integrated as part of pre season training.

June overspent by waiting till last weeks of market to negotiate .

Who the fuck pays 10m for a loan? This is one of the dumbest deals ever
It's been done a few times before.

The club seems to be looking in the short term atm and what a player is costing us per season. If you look at it this way its 15m per season or whatever. Would be financially equivalent to paying 40m for a player and him leaving for free at the end of a 4 year contract. The club clearly don't want to commit 40-45m to this player at the moment with the idea we're in better financial positions in year 2, 3, etc. The obvious downside is that there is no resale value, so if the player is either total shit or brilliant the club loses out fairly significantly.

If the buyout clause is true though and he is happy to stay it would work out OK. If he's shit however it's a wasted 10ml

SKY(not 100% sure it's real) says in the 7mil the wages are included.
if he does well we pay the 30mil clause.

The risk here is he fucks us and signs with another club because they offered more. A little risky.

    Everyone calm the fuck down!

Let's wait for forum experts to explain in the way that will protect Giuntoli and make this a resonable deal!
Don’t worry the usual crowd already came to his defense :

why would Juve invest 30M or whatever in conceicao when they’re already investing 30M+ in Nico and nearly 60M in Koopmeiners? Conceicao isn’t gonna be a starter if Koopmeiners arrives.
