France is continuing its fight against free speech. Denying the Armenian Genocide is quite irrational and is the denial of a historical fact but no one should be fined/jailed for maintaining this position.

While I do agree that the genocide did happen, isn't this taking PC too far?

I don't think so. Excessive PC is something completely different. Like people getting offended that you call a native american an Indian or something like that. Denying the genocide is almost always done by extreme nationalist groups so I am all for taking from them an oppurtunity to speak their garbage.

Also I don't understand why Turkish government won't admit to it, the Germans did it and they have no problems now.
