Sweden will play France feb. 9nth! The game will air on Canal+ in Scandinavia. I think it'll be really intressting, since most of our and their stars will attend.

Squad: Sweden
Andreas Isaksson
Magnus Hedman

Erik Edman
Petter Hansson
Teddy Lucic
Olof Mellberg
Mikael Nilsson
Alexander Östlund

Niclas Alexandersson

Pontus Farnerud
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Mattias Jonson
Kim Källström
Tobias Linderoth
Fredrik Ljungberg
Markus Rosenberg
Anders Svensson
Christian Wilhelmsson
(Watch out for Isaksson, Källström and Rosenberg in the future)

Squad: France
Fabien Barthez
Gregory Coupet

Patrice Evra
William Gallas
Gael Givet
Eric Abidal
Sebastien Squillaci
Jonathan Zebina

Camel Meriem
Rio Mavuba
Olivier Dacourt
Benoit Pedretti
Patrick Vieira
Vikash Dhorasoo

Ludovic Giuly
Peguy Luyindula
Thierry Henry
David Trezeguet
Louis Saha
Florent Malouda

Sweden have played really good recently. Stood up to Holland excellent twice and have only one loss in the worldcup qualifier (WHICH WE SHOULD HAVE WON!) and spice it up with a good eurocup. Zlatan seems to be in form as well as Rosenberg (who's most likely to pair up with Zlatan up front) have been performing worldclass recently and attracting intrest from clubs such as Ajax, Fenerbache and Barcelona. I don't know how much Larssons absence will affect the team, but Rosenberg - Ibra were deadly in Swedens u21.

France haven't been looking as steady as we are used to see em after the loss of Zidane, Lizarazu and Makelele. But the return of Trezeguet and Viera + some other nice names it will sure be intresting to see how they do.

I predict: France 2:1 Sweden. But it will be a close game! :0)

I'll be interested to see how our boys do, but personally I don't like the idea of having international friendlies with the Champions League knockout phase coming up so soon

I'm with you on that. But still, its thirteen days away and it might be good for em to take their minds of their clubs for a while. :)

Hm maybe Zlatan will show that he is superior than Trez and vice versa.
I wonder how the tallest duo of strikers will perform against each other.

France is just not a very good team anymore. But I hope Trez will get a goal to boost his confidence and play better for us.

Swedish players to watch: Isaksson, Wilhelmsson, Källström, Zlatan, Ljungberg. They are all a joy to watch. Look at Teddy Lucic also, he is a rock and solid.

Hmm okay since Zlatan is out, and frickin Lagerbäck decided not to call in another player, I don't see us winning this game, it will be shitty entertainment, both of our mainforwards is out.
We'll probably see Rosenberg and Allbäck up front. Allbäck sucks, he sits on the bench at HANSA ROSTOCK. ::down:

PERHAPS if he had called in players such as Mourad or Djordic. :(

    Gregory Coupet is great
Fabian Cool is not bad at all, terrific reflexes
Mikael Landreau always been my favorite, "the one for the future" but has faded a bit in later years

strange that Frey isnt called up. He is France's best keeper and almost as good as Buffon. IMO we should sell Buffon for shockammount of cash and buy Frey for cheap...

    Larsson - Ibrahimovic

    Wilhelmsson - Källström - Linderoth - Ljungberg

    Edman - Lukic - Mellberg - Östlund

    Isaksson

That would be ideal, but thats not the case :(
