OK match, but it was somewhat hindered by the poor quality of the pitch. I was impressed with the usual suspects of Hazard, Sow, Gervinho, and Cabaye, but some of Lyon's players failed to do much. Bastos and Gourcuff were mediocre, IMO. Kallstrom was good though. I also think Lovren will turn into a solid CB.

Pjanic should definitely be playing more though. But then again, maybe we can get him at a cheaper deal if he isn't getting time. Uh huh, yeah right.

Marseille are very lucky they haven't been obliterated by these Gervinho - Sow - Hazard counterattacks. Gervinho just missed a good chance.
