I have to say Gignac was quite poor throughout, he's obviously still not in sync with the rest of the team, hopefully that will get better with time though. Also, Lucho really needs to iron out the inconsistency, with Niang gone, the burden lies on his shoulders alone to carry Marseille.

They desperately need Diawara back too.

How is the Gignac - Remy partnership working out? I was really surprised when Marseille snapped both of them up. Niang could have joined a better league as well. Wasn't he linked with Arsenal?

Both are still trying to adapt, Remy is being played on the right hand side of a 3 man attack, he is adapting slower than Gignac, and has actually been benched in the last couple of games.

I'm quite surprised at Niang wanting to leave Marseille so desperately to go to Turkey. I don't understand the appeal Turkish teams have recently, i'm guessing its the money.

So is brandao playing on the left? I really expected them to be firing on all cyclinders.

Well Niang was promised a move away from Marseille like two seasons ago but they held him, as for Turkey it must be all that talk of virgins you muslim men go on about.:D
