Well, i'm not really aware of the financial situation of teams in France but you would imagine that with the results Blanc got they might have got a good revenue. Specially after winning Ligue 1.

I do think they're royally screwed now without Blanc and Chamakh though, it's just a matter of time till we see Yoann and Benoit out to other teams.

Have a good time Gabriel, its more than a month since i last played. Weather over here doesn't help in the summer unfortunately.

I take it back, Gourcuff with a very good delivery from a corner, and Ciani heads it home, in the last minute. 2-1 Bordeaux.

Well it was an entertaining game all in all, the second half especially was end to end stuff. The first half was all PSG, they had 3 good chances, one of them Erding got one on one with Carrasso, he dribbled the keeper but lost control of the ball and it was too long for him. Erding especially was lively but extremely wasteful. He was taken off in the second half as a result.

Bordeaux were quite poor in the first half and if if hadn't been for Carasso's goalkeeping and PSG's wastefulness, they would have been down by the first half. In the second half, their two fullbacks Chalme and Trem started bombing forward, Goufran was put back in a more natural right wing position as they brought in a striker(Modeste), that move changed things from Bordeaux as they started attacking PSG in the second half. Alou Diarra headed in the first goal from a corner, then PSG equalized after some nice interplay between Sessegnon, Nene and Hoarau. The latter was very good today, sheilding the ball welll, holding up the play and bringing his teammates into play all the time. At the back Sakho was his usual solid self, and Makelele screened the defense well. Nene was lively but wasteful himself, Erding was poor, Sessegnon was a creative spark with his direct approach, he gave Trem a hard time today.

From Bordeaux, Fernando was good in the second half, he distributed the ball and passed it around very well, Goufran was dangerous when he was reverted back to his usual right wing role, Chalme also played well in the second half because he had more help on the wing by Goufran. Eventually some nice interplay between Chalme and Goufran on the right won Bordeaux a corner at the last minute, the corner was delivered by Gourcuff and headed in by Ciani.

Anyone watching PSG - Bordeaux?

PSG the better team so far, they're creating more chances but they're being too wasteful, especially Mevlut Erding. Could come back to haunt them. Nene doing very well for them so far, he could be one of the best signings in Ligue this season. Also Sakho is dominating as usual, no way through on the left hand side because of him. Bordeaux desperately need a striker, they're playing the lightweight Goufran upfront alone. Chamakh's departure has screwed them a lot.

Sakho on the left? I know he can play as LB, but last season he played as CB. Do PSG coach played him as LB this season? I don't know if he main strength will be utilized better at LB but if he can still that damn good at LB, we should sign him..

Gouffran upfront alone? Is Gouffran played as RW under Blanc? Bellion or Cavenaghi usually played as Chamakh reserve last season, where are both of them?

The Ligue isn't covered properly around the world, i don't understand why as it is one of the best leagues in Europe, right after the Bundesliga imo, but for entertainment value it is up there with the very best if you ask me. We are lucky here in the Arab world to have a channel like Al-Jazeera sport. I don't think there are many channels that cover as much football as Al-Jazeera does. Serie A, La Liga, CL, Europa League, Dutch league, French league, English first division, Brazilian league, Argentine league, Swiss league, Scottish league, Japanese league in addition to a few Arab leagues from the region. Most of those leagues that they cover, they broadcast all the big teams games, that means if you are a Bordeaux, Marseille, Ajax, Boca, River Plate etc fan, you can watch all your teams games.

The only leagues they don't have are the German and English. All that for just 100$ a year

I used to play as a winger or a second striker at times (i was playing in the youth team of the club in my city) actually, by now i was supposed to be in the team by now, but around three years ago during a youth team match some assh*le went really really hard on me and i broke my right femur. I was 16 at the time and spent a full year without playing for that reason. I did came back though, and was recovering my form, the coach even told me that i was gonna make it to the team the next year if i i kept up, but playing another match i broke my right femur AGAIN (later on, the doctor said that it was due to a cyst) i had to had surgery and a metal bar introduced inside my bone. Spent 3 months unable to do anything and had to relearn to walk all over again, needless to say my pace is not the same anymore, nor is my dribbling. I played as a CM for some time later on but i quited the team, it got even to the point when my leg hurts just from constantly kicking a football.

Yesterday i was playing with some friends, i played as a GK and even if i like it, i just can't enjoy it anymore.

I mean 4-5 channels exclusively for that, so in one channel you have for example Chelsea vs West Ham and in the other Manure vs Tottenham at the same time. They do that for both EPL and Serie A.

Yeah, that was the idea. But after all the injuries (i dislocated my shoulder once playing too, but that's not as bad) i really didn't enjoy it anymore and wasn't the same player anyway. I could've kept on as a CM but nah man, i think i'm unluckier than glassman Robben.

Oh really? and you were going to play for them? You're a lot better than i imagined

Actually, it was a pretty unstable club, they were fighting relegation some seasons ago(though, they haven't been relegated in all their history), but there was an injection of cash a some years ago that saved the club. (they've won the league 2 times in the last 6 or 7 years though)

I like to think i would've forced my way into the team though (i got to train with the actual team a couple times), but after breaking my leg and all, with zero confidence. It just wasn't my thing anymore.


That's why i feel bad whenever i see this kind of injuries in football, regardless of the player or the team he plays. (Cissé, Ramsey, Hutchinson) It's a very sad experience and a pain to go through.
