Decent game between L'OM and Rennes today. Rennes always give Marseille a hard time. Today they played a very good team, hit Marseille on the counter attack using the pace of Bangoura(finally back to the Ligue) and Gyan Asamoah, and the trickery and creativity of Jerome Leroy.

Marseille are a very good team and they have a strong and compact midfield. All they need is that extra spark of creativity. Meaning that when Lucho is back from injury he will make their midfield much more formidable.

Deschamps has built a nice team for himself.

Wow, Pjanic scored again, it seems that he is finaly getting proper chance at Lyon. And Spahic from Montpeiller also looking good even though hee needs to work on his temper.

I read that Rod Fanni (Rennes) played a good match also against Marseille,
Might be we can turn our attention to him for RB if we fail to sign Rafinha

He played very well againsy Marseille thats true. Was one of Rennes better players. Going forward especially he was very dangerous. Interesting battle between him and Taiwo.

WOW!! Gourcuff scored 2 goals again against Nice, this player is unbelievable
I like him to replace Camo when Camo retires.. but i don't think he'll come cheap and also we have other priority in transfer, defence and our aging forward

He's nothing like Camo though. Gourcuff works only as a playmaker and nothing else. He cannot be utilised on the wing, nor in any type of withdrawn midfield role. That i believe is his biggest weakness, his lack of versatility.

fucking loving MHSC :D Fred-think they have any chance of staying clear of the relegation battle?
Can't really say mate, haven't really watched enough of them, sorry :)

Fred, Aruna Dindane, your opinion of him. :D
Aruna used to be a really good player, very fast and an extremely good dribbler. His biggest problem is his finishing though, he has always been quite erratic in his finishing. It has been a year since i watched him before Lens game against Bordeaux at the start of the season(Lens were playing in Ligue 2 last year), so i'm not sure if he's still as good as he used to be. But he had a fairly good game against Bordeaux so i imagine he's still a good player. Was surprised that he didn't move to a good club in France when Lens went down two years ago.

Indeed. There wasn't really a need for him to stay at Lens, he surely would've gotten offers from other teams in Ligue 1 so it was his own decision to stay I guess. Anyways, I guess he's put himself down the pecking order with regards to Côte d'Ivoire aswell with the likes of Bakari Koné getting chances ahead of him. Maybe it'll work out for him under not much pressure at Portsmouth..

Bakari > Aruna. E basta.

You boys remember Daniel Moreira, used to play for Lens and Toulouse? :touched:
Here's a reminder:
But above all:
I miss Lens. They were never my club, but they used to put up a good fight.

Moreira! Those videos are classics, Lens were always one of those give 100% teams had everyone's respect.

P.S. Martin, avez-vous étudié français pour le BI?

No, pensavo che il livello sarebbe troppo alto per me. Non ho imperato bene nella mia scuola precedente.

^ Apologies, this is the closest approximation to french I'm capable of.

Btw "as-tu" will suffice :)
