A flight to Edinburgh and a trip to Newcastle is a bit tempting actually.
lucky for those who live in the north who will have the benefit of seeing both city rivals of newcastle and sunderland playing juve. damn if only i was still living in birmingham i wud be tempted to treck to the north.

Lets all go on a Juventuz outing! :D

I feel this tour will be one of the most successful Juve tours ever.

    Whitehead relishing Juve visit

Dean Whitehead cannot wait to face Juventus in August's mouth-watering friendly at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland take on the Italian giants on Saturday, August 4, in a match to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Stadium of Light.

Captain Whitehead is relishing the prospect of pitting his wits against the likes of Pavel Nedved, Gianluigi Buffon and Alessandro Del Piero in the glamour fixture.

He said: "As a player you want to play against the best sides in Europe and Juventus are one of the biggest in the world with a legendary tradition. I can remember watching them in the Champions League several times over the years, ever since I got into football as a youngster, seeing them play English teams like Manchester United and Liverpool in massive games.

"The prospect of them coming to Sunderland is great."

after the news that west ham will be playing roma and not juve, the idea of travelling to sunderland/newcastle is long from me in london, but if they are the only teams they r playing in england i guess ill have to gather a crew to travel down with
