tried something similar with my test theme...still need to fix the banners who need to fit in better but I can't do that.

Try to copy as much as you can from the old forum style. Was unique. The new one looks like just one of many.

Is there a way to view the newest post when I click on a thread title? I don't see that viewing behavior option anywhere
Are animated gifs for avatars still supported? Looks like mine broke during the migration

Try it with some Jagermeister, it should make you sleepy and the herbs and spices will support your recovery.
