since WE doesn't have enough teams to make a complete league for each country, it combines all the teams it has and puts them in one huge "Master League" think of it as the future expanded G14
in the master league, the teams are devided into 4 divisions. you start at the lowest Division. also, since big teams like juve and manU aren't supposed to be in lower devisions (it would be too easy for them), they dont give you the real roster of players. you start of with BS players (and all other teams have their perfect rosters, except for some with messed up names as i mentioned). . you have to win with those weak players (and use the great negotiation/trading system to get players on loan or to buy them.) then, if you're really good, you can pass devision 4 with the weak players and gradually have enough money to start buying bigger players. by the time you reach Devision one, you should have enough money to buy out at least DP and a couple other juve players. (my goal is to complete the juve team by buying them all back).

It's amazing...I dont want to sound like a preatcher, but you really really really sound like me 2 years ago. I used to be Fifa's biggest fan. For the same reason, I was cut off from serie A for most of the 01/02 season. The realism/licensing was my biggest argument. It's what i cared about the most. Did you that i refuse to play a game if DP's shoe isn't switched to F50 and Miccoli's hair isn't grown!! (like it is now). I like everything PERFECT!! From 1995 up untill last year, I used to ONLY PLAY JUVE's real Formation with everyone in their perfect place. Even when Lippi switched to 4-2-3-1, I did the same last year! the moment Davids got loaned to Barca, i took him out of juve. When Del Piero was injured after the Roma game, I stopped playing him!!! :LOL:

Not really, I mean more the physics of the game and just how it works. In terms of realism, when I play FIFA now, it feels as weird as if they took gravity out of Super Mario Bros I was a huge FIFA fan too, so it's not like I don't know what it's like on the other side.

Right now I have started a new season with Juve; the 2004-2005 season. I theoretically named Prandelli as the new coach, and I theoretically worked with Moggi to find the right players to bring in during the summer. Moggi and I thought that Trez should be sold, so I put him on Barca. I thought that it would be right to bring in BOTH Vieri and Gilardino, and Moggi concurred in theory. So I exchanged Di Vaio for Vieri to keep the cost down. Since I named Prandelli as coach, I brought in Ferrari as well, but not Bonera, who I was rightfully outbid for by Inter (I considered giving Parma 2 million Euros, but instead Inter gave 10, so Bonera's career is wasted). I was also able to bring in Mexes and Kroldrup while not selling Thuram. Instead, I offloaded Iuliano to Lazio in part of a deal for Oddo and Fiore, to cut back the cost. I also snatched Jimenez from Ternana, but I loaned him out to Lazio for a season or two, just to cut back the fee for Oddo and Fiore significantly. I also sold Tudor to Samp for 8 mill E, and also Montero went to Atletico Madrid for a small fee. To cut back on the cost of the Parma players, I gave them Zalayeta, Sculli, Boudianski (in theory), and gave them Brighi for another loan. For the 23 million Euros I got for Trez, I used that to buy Emerson and the rest of the players transfer fees. Of course, I also got Kapo for free. This is what Prandelli told me would be the best formation for Juve:

Tacchinardi (Maresca) Emerson

great (realistic) formation., but you bought way too many players. that's never happened before (the closest being the summer of 2001 where juve bought Buffon, Nedved, Salas, Thuram, Zenoni...but this is because juve sold ZZ, Inzagh, VDS, and Kovacevic.

I would have kept DV and and only made these signings:
Kapo (free) , Gila, Mexes, Ferrari, Trabelsi (free), and Blasi (recall).
Sold:
Montero, Iuliano, Pessotto, Trez, Zalayeta.
^^^^ A lot more realistic/possible IMO. Remember, Juve are going through a tough time financially. the sale of these players + a couple mil should be enough to buy those three players. It helps lower the team age, makes it more flexible, all at an affordable price.
You are probably right, but again anything can happen. I think that defense you stated is pretty realistic, except that I am not sure about Trabelsi coming for free. Supposedly he will go to court against Ajax trying to resolve that issue. I think there is a greater chance that Oddo would come instead of Hatem. We know that Blasi, Kapo, and Gilardino will be coming next year, but I think there will be another change in midfield. Whether it be Emerson or Fiore or both, I am not sure. From what I have heard today, if Abramovich accepts this offer of Lampard for Trez, than that would solve the midfield problem. It would be a rather stupid exchange for Chelsea, but if they are having trouble negotiating a new contract with Frank, then he could come to Juve. He is a fantastic player IMO who could add so much to our midfield, besides from giving 200% every time he steps onto the pitch. I heard that Mourinho wants Trez at Chelsea next season, so Abramovich could do anything.
So I might start a new season like this:
In: Oddo, Mexes, Ferrari, Blasi, Kapo, Lampard, Gilardino, and maybe Vieri. I have heard so much talk about Vieri coming next season, and from Moggi's interview it makes sense that BOTH Vieri and Gila will come in the summer for various reasons. So in theory we could have as many as 8 new players in the summer, but six sounds like the magic number to me.
And don't forget that it sounds like Tudor will be leaving as well in the summer.

If Kapo can create many chances and start to develop as a great player, he could feature in the midfield as the new playmaker that we very well need. 1. Moggi always makes these kinds of interviews. He loves throwing people off. Juve rarely advertize their big buys. When juve were so close to Lucio, we got Legro. When we were linked with Mutu, we got Di Vaio. Our biggest buy, Nedved, was signed when nobody expected it. That goes with Salas too. With Buffon, not many expected it either since we had Carini. Even Appiah's signing was totally out of the blue. My point is, Juve do NOT advertize that they'll be getting a certain player (like Real Madrid have been doing for the last few years). This theory of mine kinda goes against juve getting Gila, but I think Gila's case is different since Moggi hasn't said much of him.
2. He's already 31 i think. That's not a smart investment.
3. We dont have much problem with the attack. getting Vieri AND Gilardino will just add more headaches to a section of the field where we have the least problems. Since Del Piero is almost a certain starter, Miccoli is thought highly of and is in the long term plans, and DV is decent enough for the bench and showed some good form at the begning of this season, Kapo can play 5th stiker, and our good ties with Parma makes getting Gila easier, I DO NOT see room for Vieri. If we do get Gila and Vieri, it'll be a case of "Too many cooks spoil the broth."
4. I dont see Moggi buying back a former player. It's not Moggi's style. it just makes his first sale of Vieri look stupid (which was not really).
5. It'll be expensive to get Vieri. I dont see that happening. Juve's budget is tight, and attack as the last priority as i mentioned. When juve splashed out so much to get DV, it was because Moggi paniced at the very end of the 2002 calcio mercato.
in Summary, the only possibility of Vieri joining Juve is if Gila won't come.
About Lampard. I highly doubt it. 5% chance only. that 5% is because Lampard has a good work ethic. 95% no because he's English (EPL players dont exactly have a great track record in Italy) and we already have Conte, Maresca and Nedved who can play in the positions that Lampard plays.
