shame because everything outside the match engine is improved, has never been better, but the match engine is fucked. game is completely unplayable in its current state. they should shelve the whole thing and start from scratch

Oh man, you were not joking. Just played a CL 1/2 final 2nd leg against Liverpool away and this is what stats look like at the end:

Liverpool won 3-2. And I didn't even try to defend, I used a preset control possession tactic. How is something like that even possible. You have to be trying to make something this bad.

i played a game against PSG. first half seemed fairly normal, i went 1-0 up fairly even game, and then in the second half they started playing the ball over the top.

I had 57% of posession but every turnover to PSG led to a ball over the top of my defense. changing defensive line offside trap did nothing.

PSG were constantly close to scoring, had 25 shots. everything was saved by Tek. i won 1-0.

The game, in its current state, is nowhere close to being functional.

if they dont make massive changes by the official release then this is a complete disaster

Away games are impossible to play. If it's even a remotely stronger team they're gonna shoot 30-40 times and kill you. I tried possession, counter, cattenaccio tactics, nothing works. If it stays like this in full release...

Yeah im getting some really good results,
it has been essentially 2 seasons of tweaking tactics but i've found one that really suited my Sampdoria team,
try playing with the lowest line of engagement and a slightly deeper line, you will regularly lose the possession battle but they rarely threat on goal as you are so compact, ive found that there are games where the opponents dont even get 1 shot on target even with 65-70% possession

It worked for my Samp squad towards the end and now im undefeated at juve with it

yea its insane. one wingback plays a ridiculous pirlo esque crossfield ball and the other shoots from outside the box. somehow happens all the time.

ive decided im not going to play this until the full release. too broken. even if there are methods to play effectively its just too silly and not at all realistic

Juventus had fake kits despite me downloading and installing proper kits. So I said fuck it too immersion breaking coach with fake kits.


AAA deciding between La Liga and EPL, went with latter, Liverpool specifically. Bought Grimaldo, Sancho, Butland and hopefully a midfielder for depth soon (trying for Havertz but will be hard, bummed out that Haaland said no to me lol).


Late into pre season, all my top 5 players are out, holiday or half year injured in Allisson case (hence why I said Butland).


Reason I'm posting is, in current preseason game, I have reserve attack of Origi, Shaqiri and Lallana, and wtf I'm leading 5 nil in first 9 minutes of the game. Origi scored 4.



Now 7-0 after 30 minutes, Origi scored 5. Needless to say will sub out everyone. But jesus.


And yeah majority of the goals are from crosses lol, some of them short passing, playing vertical tiki taka.

Not surprised they are always criminally overrated. shortly into my long FM 19 save the Champions League had become a two horse between myself and United. Whether i met them in the quarters or in the final itself that was the game that decided the ultimate title winner.

Lol had no idea. I'm just on community shield so barely started the season.


But I had a budget where I could sign Grimaldo, Sancho, Butland, bunch of bargain wonderkids, James Rodriguez (Real sold him to me for 46m), all this in one budget.


And my funds are depleted, but just just scouted Romagnoli and clicked on interact with my board for transfer for the heck of it(starting CB is major weakness), and they agreed, they negotiated transfer fee of 56m and signing his contract without me lifting a finger How generous of them.



But maybe not as generous as Juve, they have transfer listed Costa so he is basically easy to get on free loan.

Yea it seems a lot easier to get some highly desirable young players. Off my starting budget I first signed Lorenzo Pellegrini (available on 35 mil release clause) then also got Gravenberch, Tonali and Jeremy Doku. All three are top level, world class potential talents.

I actually tried for Gravenbech without knowing he is a wonderkid in the game. But no more funds and he is too young to move to England.


Tho I shouldn't be greedy, I got Douglas Costa on free loan lol.

in all my years of playing this game my board has never agreed to negotiating a transfer,
i thought it was a myth
