I'm playing Man Sh!tty in CL Final in my 1st season. Had a weak group and ended 1st [Dinamo Kyev, PSV Eindhoven and Hapoel Beer Sheva], then knocked out Barcelona [7-5 agg], Atletico Madrid [7-2 agg] and Liverpool [6-4 agg]. My players seem to enjoy playing big matches in Europe, performing better than in Serie A. I just hope I won't choke in the final, lol.

If I have a player who has been owned by my club for three years between 15-21 (but has spent most of that time on loan at other clubs) are they still eligible for home grown when it comes to CL registration?

I don't think so.they have to be with your club/Primavera/U23 for that period. Not 100% sure.
I loan all my players after they got that status.
