I'm gonna try out your tactic, one question, do you have opposition instructions for it? Closing down and such or weaker foots or pressing.
I am playing a new game with updated transfers, so I have the current Juve, won league, coppa and CL final with well rounded 4-2-3-1 (its also attacking, just no gunho like yours it seems, in the league I scored 122 goals, conceaded 30, Higauin scored 30 in league and 16 in CL, midfielders chipped in with lots of goals), but I could use a hyper attacking formation like you have to have some crazy fun too. Also tempted because like you, I have Sanchez now in pre-season of 2nd season. Due to transfer update, game has his contract expiring after first half of the season, so his agent came to me and offered Alexis to me, no brainer. Especially since despite winning CL, the club is only offering giving me 25m transfer budget. Had to tweak wage budget alot just to afford to pay 41m to fully buy Douglas Costa (he had a ridicolous 15 goals 20 assists season). Cant even buy Höwedes before his buy option expires heh. Tho I barely used him anyways, want to keep him.
Who are your attacking depth? I will start with Sanchez, Gonzalo and Dybala when I try your 3 man forward line, but not sure if Costa and Bernadeschi can be trained to forwards. Guess its enough Mandzu, Giovinco (yes Giovinco lol) and Pjaca are natural at forward position. Gonna make Cuadrado RB in this formation, otherwise RW with the 4-2-3-1.
Biggiest question of all, how the heck did you get Veratti? Granted you must be several seasons in, and not just after first one like me, but I think I'm way off being able to buy 80-100m player with the meagre budgets they giving me. Buffon is retiring after first season for some reason, but cant afford to get a quality 2nd keeper lol.
Sorry for the late reply.
Opposition instructions, mainly I ask the assistant before the game, and it works fine most of the time. Vs bigger teams in CL, closing down on the better players + pressing more.
I got Sanchez for 44m, my scouts found out bargain transfers out of nowhere from time to time (in the reports, it says available between 38 and 47 for example). It was a no brainer for me too. If you dont offer anyting in that time, and start scouting the player, the rumoured fee is gone, you wont be able to get the player.
I'm playing without the transfer update, so I still have Bonucci and Lemina. I was able to get Bernardeschi from Monaco, though he is among the top earners in the club, dunno if it is justified, since he is not a regular starter at the moment.
My first team attachers are Sanchez - Gonzalo - Dybala, just like you, but i tend to rotare a lot. Pjaca is also getting a lot of minutes. Moise Kean is becoming a WC player on age 18, so he is also getting a lot of minutes. I also got Anderson from Lazio fairly cheap, and he is learning a new possition at the moment (Complete forward). He was shit at the start of the season, but now he looks good.
So, my frontline looks like this
Sanchez - Gonzalo - Dybala
(Pjaca) - (Kean) - (Bernardeschi)
Bonus - Felipe Anderson
I also must add that I have deals in place for Martial, Morata and Sane lol. Dunno what will I do with so much attackers, but Morata will be around the first team for sure. Maybe Anderson will have to go if I'm able to get at least 35m for him. I sold out Berardi to Real for 109m this summer, and im getting Morata, Sane and Martial for 70m combined.
Mandzukic was great for me, but i had to sell him while i still could. I sold him to Manchester Utd for 40-45m at the age of 32. Great deal. The fans and the board hated me, but who cares.
I also inserted 4-2-3-1 and 4-2-4 as a secondary formations, so Pjaca, Anderson and Berna are playing more often. I am disapointed in Pjanic, besides the occasional FK goal from time to time, he offers nothing special in my team. Lemina, Kessie and Veratti are the real deal.
I also was playing Cuadrado as a RB (complete fullback) in the first two seasons lol. Then got a good offer from Tottenham i think, and I sold him.
I got Veratti in a January transfer window. He cost me around 90m euros, payable in 4 years. I was able to get him mainly because I sold Isco (who I got in the second season for around 30m) to Man City for 99m euros. Veratti is a monster, if you are able to get him, dont miss out.
I have two great keepers (Oblak, Rulli) and I also have Rajkovic and Areola out on loans.
My advice for you, play Pjaca more, and watch out on the growing on Moise Kean. They are beasts. Also, keep an eye on the free transfers and bargains. Keep getting any decent players for free of very cheap, use them as backups or loan them for one season after you get them, and sell them year after for a decent profit. I was able to make milions like this. Beppe Marotta style.
